  1. Home again safe. The two companys I work for, Traffic management and earthworks are both shut down untill monday at least. Few roads closed, but its still raining hard, folk told not to drive unless they have too. Our rain isnt like UK rain, I lived in the UK for 40 years. Here 100mm in an hour or two isnt unusual, and to get it several days running isnt either. I love this country but jeeez, when something is on, its FULL ON ! One day its factor 30+ and sunburn, the next your soaked through ! http://www.couriermail.com.au/questnews/moreton/gallery-fn8zbo3b-1226252548237?page=3
  2. Its all good. Lazy day off work with pay (public holiday) BBQ out on the deck watching the storms, plenty of shed time with the bikes. Just glad that no one had died yet unlike last years nightmare!
  3. No sun here. Had non-stop rain for a week. lots of streets closed, most celebrations cancelled, area near us evacuated. This is our Summer, and up in Queensland that means HOT or HOT AND WET. Tropics!

  5. Very good Dave, your really getting the hang of it... Better than mine, all I got was wheelspin off the line, then a b@llocking for "show boating"...
  6. Im 10276 miles South and a little to the right if your passing Dave... Although I will be back in the UK for a week or two this year, maybe May.
  7. I dont think it'd be anything to trouble Ben, The guy made his own Billet wheels! as well as customers swingarms etc etc... http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/showthread.php?23304-Rocket-3-Billet-swingarm
  8. When i looked at the original link, this came up at with the other ad's. Much nicer.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kawasaki-GPZ1100-1984-barn-find-project-/180800405168?_trksid=p4340.m1374&_trkparms=algo%3DPI.WATCH%26its%3DC%252BS%26itu%3DUCC%26otn%3D5%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D5855581321784959235

  10. It was on a Honda, so it wasn't as if it was important, or as if i cared !
  11. I had one do the same years a go. Used one of the Bango bleed bolts as a temporary fix. Never cpould get it out. Gave up, ground the top off and filled it in with black paint.....
  12. How hard can it be ? Got to be easier than putting a 4 cylinder RG500 two-stroke into a scooter !
  13. Yeah, I think the plan maybe to remove the lower frame rails and weld in ones from the exhaust headers that wrap around to the swingarm pivot. A bit like Harris magnums. The Busa motor will go in from below and be mounted as a stressed member...
  14. Funny you should say that. Guy on ASF is currently measuring up Busa motors to go into his GSF1200 Bandit frame! Talking of which....... Old Kat with a Turbo Busa lump.... Bandit 12 with a GSXR1000 lump....
  15. I dont think they use the same Pet shop as me....
