SET OF DECENT PADS
mdhillug03 replied to gsf1200's topic in Advice on Repairing and maintaining your bike
I used kyoto on my old bandit, 9 quid off ebay, as long as you have fresh brake fluid and levers that work. then you will be fine. I would rather change pads regularly for 10 quid and have frsh pads than spend 30 or more quid and not change as often. Notice you live in lancashire, happy to help you fit then if you need help. -

Hi, I had a very similar impact in September 11, only the car hit the side of the bike, rather than bike hit side of the car. The speed was about 20ish. Bike was written off. Full claim taken from drivers insurance. You don't owe the driver out. If it was their fault claim. Your helmet is useless, never use a helmet that been involved in an accident. If you were hurt the police should have attended the scene and took statements from you both. Did an ambulance attend. You need to replace all biking gear that you were wearing. You need to put the claim through! You dont know whats broken if anything on the bike and you don't wanna find out on the move! or it could be RIP

Hi all, Today was the first day I have been back out on the CBR 600 FX since putting my new Sandy bike spares SS downpipes on. First impressions are good, have not experienced the dreaded flat spot that people talk about and i have been all over the rev range today! They even go gold following the first heat cycle ( same as my old bandits oem pipes) whicj is a bonus. Cracking value all in all at 169.99 with free set of gaskets and free next day delivery. super easy fit too! Just though I would share with you all as Oem mild steel ones are cira 500 quid and motard SS are around 250 quid so Sandy bike spares are great value!
