It is actually the spirit of lust (which is the head demon) and the spirit of homosexuality is the underling spirit or associated spirit. You must come against both. Remember that in Luke :10:19 we have all authority "Behold I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over ALL the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means harm you." All people have soul ties Sparta. Some are good and some not. If the person in your life has a negative (Non Godly) impact......well then it is possible that is a bad soul tie. Father nothing crosses that blood line. I thank you that all principalities that would come against us have no power because it says in your word; I give you ALL power over the enemy and nothing will by any means harm you. Father I plead the 91st Psalm in effect over her and come against the enemy right now and tell him he has no right over her that she is a child of God. I tell you all minions, demons and spirits you are on a very short leash and we command you in the name Jesus to stop all activity right now and send you to the feet of Jesus for punishment. Thisissparta, A soul tie in and of itself cannot however the spirits themselves can. A soul ties opens the door for spirits to go between two people. It also gives the demons or spirits legal right to be there. You may want to consider going to Deliverance Ministry. You will get freedom from some of the things that are going on in your life. The key here though is you must forgive those that offend you just as our Lord forgave us. If you are willing to do that.....deliverance is possible. Oh my gosh......that is like so awesome. That is from Is 49-54. I know because the Lord has given this same word to me and I am standing on that word. He is so good and so great and there is none like my Beloved who loves me with an everlasting love and keeps me safe in his arms. My personal favorite is this one: For thy maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. IS 54:5 Isaiah is my favorite book in the Bible. I just hear the Lord speak to me so much through this book. In others too but this one specifically is where he touches my heart the most. Rnestseeker, This is in reference to Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. I think this is saying that we should meditate on God and his word and let it permeate into our spirit.....waiting on God to respond and taking rest in him. I think what they mean is that we listen for God to answer in prayer and be with him in the secret place....it is listening for the voice of God and communicating with him. I pray this helps.
