  1. I encountered a young boy who was homeless and was mentoring him. I spoke to him and helped him locate a safe place to sleep. We found a spot under the eaves of a house and I helped him to understand the importance of living in a space that was out of the weather.

The young boy had peeling skin on his foot and toes.

The boy reminded me of my grandson who recently turned 5 years old
I felt good that I was able to help him.

  2. I was with a group of students and we were all asked to do research and present a discussion paper to the group.
I researched the word “perseverance” and developed and presented a research paper on yellow coloured paper. I also discussed this paper with another colleague who had also drafted his document on yellow coloured paper. I felt confident, but my colleague said that I looked tired.

  3. I was in an office called General Balance that I worked in at the Commonwealth Bank in the 1970s. They had a difference of around $49 dollars in their worksheet. I was able to find this discrepancy by finding that one debit voucher for around $50 had been separated causing the error.
Later in the dream I saw some 50 gold bars that had been stolen and were hidden by placing these end to end under water insider a large boat like an oil tanker. I was with a group of football players that picked up the gold and returned it to it’s rightful owners.

  4. I was in something that looked like a set of market stalls. I was approached by some terrorists who announced that I was scheduled to be the captain of Flight 297 which would be brought down in protest.

I woke to the song “The Same Love” by Paul Baloche:

You choose the humble and raise them high
You choose the weak and make them strong
    You heal our brokenness inside
    And give us life

The same love that set the captives free
The same love that opened eyes to see
Is calling us all by name
You are calling us all by name
The same God that spread the heavens wide
The same God that was crucified
Is calling us all by name
You are calling us all by name

You take the faithless one aside
And speak the words "You are mine"
You call the cynic and the proud
    Come to me now

  5. I saw visiting North Belconnen Baptist Church and went to open locker number 013, which wasn’t my own. An alarm sounded and some 4-5 men came out to speak to me who seemed like they were male leaders dressed in formal clothes. I joked with them about arresting me for theft, but they said they would take legal action against me.

I started to become very anxious about this and asked them if they knew the seriousness of taking this action.

  6. Possible Manifestation:

Since May 2012 I have been working for a prisoner's aid organisation in connection with a mixed gender prison built some 3 years ago nearby.

Part of my role is to interview detainees who are about to be released and sometimes collect them from the jail on their release. This process is called Throughcare, and it is a form of mentoring.

I believe that this dream foretold the sort of work I would be doing

  7. Since May 2012 I have been working for a Prisoners Aid organisation that involves working to assist prisoners in jail and those facing charges in court.

Hence I'm now experiencing these situations IRL, including walking past guards who recognise me in a prison complex.

I'm also in the process of becoming a Justice of the Peace, and expect to be involved in a courtroom ceremony to be installed into the position, hence the courtroom should be full of people in black suits and wigs

  8. Hi Daisy

That's the implication in the dream isn't it, however no, IRL if anything in my work role I tend to be overconfident, particularly in my current position.

I've recently been offered a position on a committee made up of representatives from the community sector, corrections, police etc to review and develop case plans for prisoners who are due to be released back to the community. This is in recognition of my skills and experience.

I guess when the committee starts operating I will see whether the dream has a connection to this.

    Regards

    Paul

  9. I was working as a manager in an organisation selling something that looked like pretzels with octagonal holes. I was recruiting and training staff to do the sales. There was some rain that created pools of water under the stock and changing market conditions, and I had to make business decisions about whether to keep all the staff on, as sales started to drop.

I didn’t seem concerned about this prospect.

  10. I was working in a new office and I appeared to be in the most junior position, undertaking clerical duties, setting up files etc.

I was then invited to a boardroom meeting and sat down at a long table. There were mainly men in the meeting and a couple of women. When the meeting finished all the women left the room and I asked for assistance from one of the men in putting my coat on, as it seemed a little small. I was embarrassed as I thought that I should have bought a better coat earlier.

  11. In May 2012 I started working for a local Prisoners Aid organisation. Part of the duties include speaking to adult (male and female) prisoners or those that have been charged with offences and providing emotional support and practical help.

In some cases we also minister to victims of crime, although we generally are careful not to provide formal counselling.

Many of our clients have been charged with speeding offences.

  12. Further possible manifestation:
In April 2012 I encountered someone whom I knew from a past job at the front of the local jail.
She informed me that the organisation had unsuccessfully tried to recruit a Manager in March 2012, and suggested that I apply.
I gave her my resume and was the only new candidate, and commenced work for the local Prisoners Aid organisation in May.
This has developed into a ministry which includes interviewing prisoners about to be released, and connecting them to community resources with the aim of minimising the risk of reincarceration.
I am working closely with the local, court Corrections authorities and police and appear to be keeping them happy, plus very few of my clients have reoffended since release.
There are both male and female prisoners in the jail - which I understand is unique in Australia.

  13. I am now working in a position which involves interviewing prisoners inside jail who are about to be released, and building support structures so they can be rehabilitated back into society, and minimise the chances of them reoffending. This role involves working closely with government agencies on a committee.
My wife continues to do an excellent job as Church Secretary, and I have recently taken up the role of Church Treasurer

  14. Well - I'm now working in that prison now!

It would appear that I needed to experience working in other roles that would prepare me to be better able to do this job, and have wider connections in the industry.

The new job involves interviewing prisoners about to be released, and connecting them with a range of community resources or organisations. many of these organisations are ones for which I've now worked and formed connections with

  15. Maurice O delivered a trailer load of pups – maybe 12 of all different sizes and colours. I was trying to get them back onto the trailer and get them to sleep, but they weren’t being cooperative. There was a larger white one with long hair that I was hugging when Maurice arrived back at the site.
Then two other people arrived, also with pups in their trailers. The one which stopped and unloaded in front of my trailer contained much younger or smaller pups.
