Gosh dude! I personally read and respond to some people. If I do not feel led to do so .I cannot do so in all honesty. I personally do not know people on this sight. So I speak for my self. If you feel as angry as you sound. I would encourage you to go off with your bible. And seek the Lord. He is a big boy and he can handle what you have to say. Your victory is in…. finding in him a place of confession and prayer . Be honest and he will show up. It may really seem you are passed by. But you are here seeking answers…RIGHT? Hello Andrew, I am unsure the translation you are using. The words in deferent translations …can change or add to a scripture. I like the King James , when searching into dept on scriptures and meanings. In the kj, it says 1Co 4:15 For though ye have ten thousand iiinstructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: There seems to be a division as to the asp Paul’s authority he is pointing out to the church. . That they might have thousands of instructors but he was as a father to them. He was a soul winner and its possible he had led some of the church to Christ. He saw him self as a spiritual father to them. and had won the right to give them scriptural correction and advice. . And was pleading with the church as a father. This scripture must be under stood as one reads the entire chapter. To me a guide is not really the proper word in this text.. But a guide does lead one. Hope this helps sunshine

I felt so strongly to pray for you last evening. Know that the Lord feels for you. Casting all your care upon him for he cares for you. The thing is people have their own mindset and as much. As the Lord loves them they are still free to make their own choices. Having known the Lord in his full ness and now turned from that. Some times people really get difficult to cope with. I would encourage you the Lord is faith full . The Lord is your answer and he is your strength. The world we live in makes it easy to fill our ever-wakening hour with some thing. It seems from a women’s point of view. SOME men have to do their thing. Trouble is it can affect others in a very negative way. As a Christian man he must be miserable in side. It’s easy to blame others for ones own misery. At the same time. Just a note.I think its more a spiritual problem. You said he once was on fire for the Lord. He may have strayed from the Lord. But the Lord doesn’t go away that easy. It’s easier to blame others for ones behavior than face up to real growth and chance. He may feel guilty personally for his drinking. And under convection for his backsliding. I would start to pray for his strength to return to the Lord. It’s also a known fact men often blame their wife’s. So they have an excurse to drink. Sorry guys! Thanks for your kind thoughts and encouraging words. I have come to accept dreams and make effort to better under stand the lord. I feel to many times the works of the Lord are said to be of the devil. Christians have some thing special the world and the devil cannot give. It’s high time we embraced our spiritual heritage. Even good people some times can be a stumbling block to ones faith. Not ever thing said to be of the lord is of the Lord. We are told to try the spirits to see if they be of the lord. (John) If we think a dream is telling us to sin or leads away from the truth of the word. Some thing is wrong some where. I honestly think some of the problem comes into this dreams area. Because we think we under stand. Some times acting upon what we think has been said. . Gets a person in a great deal of trouble. I believed a thing was being said in a dream in fact several dreams. When it came to pass and did not work out the way. I thought it should have. It took a little time to get back up.I felt stupid and defeated. Only I knew the dream or the out come. It was at a time I had not accepted dreams in the lord. But it was a testing time where I struggled with my self. it seems christians have to battle for what is theirs in the Lord. Thanks for sharing on Abram. I picked this dream because I could see it was a dream of deep meaning. Maybe others will share also. I know some dreams could be of the devil. But that is not my first thought on difficult or complicated dreams. In the entire Old and New Testament, I do not see one dream where it is said it was of the devil. I am not saying that it is not possible. I am new to understanding in this area. (There is a reference to filthy dreamers.) I have had dreams for years. Why? Or what is the Lord saying? I have shared with other Christians who said “That’s not of God; you had best pray that the dreams stop.” This study of dreams is encouraging. It helps see how God responds to the human side of us. I had someone say the only time God speaks in dreams is when you will not listen any other way. I know better than that. But there are so many discouraging things even in Christian circles. Gen.15 1/18 I think your insight a blessing. Here is what I received from the scriptures as well. Gen.15 I think the vision went into a dream state. In this state the lord began to have a conversation with Abram. Even though it started as a vision. Abram recognized it was the lord. He did not show doubt as to who was speaking to him. The lord began where Abram was in his life. He had just returned from a battle with the kings. Perhaps Abram feared others in the land. Because the first thing the Lord said to him was fear not, I am thy shield or protector. Abram showed a very human side saying he had no children. To this the lord also responded. It is said Abram believed God. It was counted as righteous. It was a real hart felt response to the Lord. Abram was in a right relationship with god. Abram was called to leave his homeland and follow the Lord.(12/1) Perhaps that was just the beginning of baby steps of faith. This vision into dream, seems to ask him to take a deeper walk of faith. The other interesting thing in this vision. God made a covenant with him. It was the custom when interning into agreement between two parties. That slaughtered animals lay in two half’s. The parties making the agreement would walk between them. In this case the Lord as represented by a smoking furnace and a burning lamp. The Lord alone establishes the promises and obligations of the covenant Abrams part was to believe and trust god to keep that word as established. This dream went to the hart of Abrams desires. It also establishes a walk with God to all generations (The spiritual children who believe and accept Christ by faith) We are blessed because this man in a vision- dreams state. (he believed god spoken word. Just think of the entire impact this dream had upon this mans spirit and mine. Looking back we can see the prophecy given in this dream did in fact come true. Verse13/14 Horror of great darkness.. He could have felt or saw the affliction of his descendents. This dream foreshowed a life changing events that lay ahead. He had to have a strong believing spirit to under stand. This vision dream covered many areas of Abrams life. 5 judy

Ok, I will try to move this subject to bible study .I am still learning to get around on this sight. I do believe the first dream recorded in the Old Testament. Was with Abram in a vision and later he fell asleep. And the Lord continued to speak to him in a dream state. Lets start there Genesis 15/1-18 Why was this vision given? What was the purpose? How was the dream or vision received? Asking questions like that. I think it may help to see from scripture the ways of the lord. In dealing with other people in dreams and visions. I will try to post in bible study section but I have to find it first. I looked this morning and do not see a bible section? I may be getting in over my head on this one. Sorry about that! I was thinking this is the place we share dreams. People in the old testament had amazing dreams. I thought it might be help full to look at a dream together. Then post ones thoughts on the dream .It could be reveling. To see how god spoke to others as recorded. What the dream was about in that person’s life. Why was it given? What was the out come? Was it a warning or for other reasons. That sought of thing. Judy

I think your pastor or visitor did say what you wrote. Perhaps in his mindset of thinking. He really thought it just that way. I am glad others are also sharing. It truly helps to know others share the same struggles. In a deferent way perhaps. But still a deep struggle to over come . Don’t feel along in your struggle. I've read about intimacy with Christ wondering if that was my problem. Thing is... I have a hard time understanding what that means in the spiritual. This is how I would describe my own intimacy with the lord. I did not grow up in a church. When I came to the lord. Most Christian teachings were new to me. It was like going to school for the first time. I started to learn and pray and just be. As a Christian of many years now. I find as I grew and matured as a person. So did my walk with the lord. When I take that time to be alone with the lord. To center my thoughts on him. To seek his counsel and his guidance. I find his spirit real and I am blessed. Much as a revival refreshing. When I lift my hands in whole hearted praise. I feel his spirit.If you are not able to find this place for your self. Ask the Lord if there is any thing coming between you .That would hinder your walk with him. When I read his word and it touches my soul. It’s a intimae time spent with the master. Women feel the need for a companion, That is a normal desire in your life. More intimate with god that he was more his own wife.???? I don,t know of such a scripture . spiritual mine set.. comes from living in reality . But seeking the Lord in all things in your life. I am trying to under stand where you are coming from. Vile, I can see by reading your post. You may be spending a lot of energy on some thing. That should never be an issue in a Christian marriage. I am a realist and I know Christian husbands and wives do stray. .. If you marry a Christian man of like faith. This should never be an issue. Sex = trust and security for me What does sex have to do with security? When men or women in a marrage stray.It hurts deeply and tares at the fabric of a marrage. I don,t belive any person can be completely secure from this happening. .Regardless of the effort on their part. I realize you may not see what I am saying as relevant Believe me you can box your self in and make all the walls in your life solid. And find your world crumbling under your feet. (Life can be just that way) Your security is not in a man even a Christian man. As a Christian women. Your security is in the lord and his word to you. You should not feel you have to prove your worth and trust worthiness. A Christian man worth his salt. Would see you as trust worthy because of your love for him. And your walk in Christ. You are a godly women. Pro 31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Pro 31:11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. Pro 31:12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. Scriptures do say specific things dealing with sex and marrage . Have you taken time to study the word on these matters? As a christian women center your mine upon the lords word. Put him first in your life .The rest he will work out in his perfect timeing. Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

I think many of your emotions and feelings are normal. Maybe you have taken them to the extreme side ..at times. And they may make you feel out of control at times. You list this as a lust problem. If you are battling this to gain victory in mine and spirit. Could there be some thing deeper that needs to be prayed about. Pray and ask the Lord to reveal any thing .That you need to be aware of. If nothing is brought to mine ..great Marriage is a good thing with the right person. After a while you may find out. sex isn’t ever thing its cracked up to be. I realize ever women feels .What she feels and may not agree. The television and moves portray sex as some wild screaming experience? It’s the only thing in life. It’s the only thing in marriage. So they would have one believe. Do you indulge in movies or think upon things .You know you should not. There are many experiences in a marriage. That make it whole and lasting and gives meaning to ones life.Your life as a whole is more than a sex experiance I guess I am saying .Sex is a lovely thing in its right place in ones life. Pray and ask the Lord how to go forward. To help you control your constant thoughts of sex…If this is the case. To bring some one into your life as a Christian companion. Sunshine
