Okay, you are working hard to fight this, I can hear it in your words...but you need to change your strategy. Honouring your Mum is important yes. Upholding her in anything contradictory to the word? NO, you choose the word EVERY time. Hating her, and hating WHAT she does, are two different things. She is walking in the flesh. She is walking in unbelief. The end of that choice for her will be even more rubbish fruit, and death, which you are not responsible for. She has been taken captive, in her mind, will and emotions. John 10:10 The thief, comes only to steal, kill and destroy....Do you see that pattern in all she does? Satan's root is selfishness. You will have to resist in the Spirit, by not hating her. John 10:10 goes on to say, I have come that you may have life, and have it in abundance to the full and overflowing. So far, is your life, looking like the latter or the former? What can you do to line up with the word, and see things change in the natural? #1 Forgive her, bless her, and bind whatever controlling spirits are manifesting this disorder. Cut them at the root in the name of Jesus. I assure you, you have the authority. You are the head of this household as the believer. #2 Jetison your fear. Faith begins where the will of God is known. You cannot be in fear and your faith be effective at the same time. Perfect (developed love) casts out fear. For fear involves torment. I can sure hear torment going on in your life. BTW, unforgiveness gives tormenters access to torment you...it is the bait of Satan. remember the guy who wouldn't forgive the other his little debt when he had been forgiven a MASSIVE debt. He was eventually thrown into prision torment until the debt be paid in full?? #3 Bind all strife in the household. Strife is a killer. How can 2 walk together unless they be in agreement? It takes 2 parties or more to enter into strife. If you do not set your foot into that noose, you cannot be sucked into it. Never argue with her. Even if she sees your silence as weakness, or your walking away weakness. All of these are practical steps to warfare, and will develop a strong character in you. The sooner you do, the sooner you will move away from this in strength, power and love wihich have God's hallmarks and not the flesh. When you can,... fast. Maybe away from the home? Read the scriptures and speak them out loud. Speak what you want to be, and NOT how it is. (in line with scripture...i.e.blessing) #4 Keep silent if you cannot say or think anything good. Death and life are in the power of your tongue. #5 James 1:4-6 Settle down and become established. Ask God for wisdom AND understanding. Wisdom is no good to you, unless you know HOW to apply it in a situation. I could say, more, but believe me, this is enough for you to get started on! Once you have done the above, stand. Stand firmly rooted and grounded faithfully in the above word and watch God work on your behalf. He works! You rest, and watch yourself not being able to be touched. Unless of course, you step out of your covering. Cast the burden of your mother on Him, for He cares for you. You will witness deliverance for both of you. It is not one way. If you do step out of your covering, and feel you miss it. Just repent, and start again. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and CLEANSE us of all unrighteousness. Receive it by faith, even if you don't feel anything. Speak it if you have to. DO NOT listen to any voice of condemnation or guilt. That is not your portion. Bless you and love you. I know what you mean P... Abraham negotiated with God about God destroying Sodom and the rescue of Lot. It is interesting to note, that the Angels could not destroy the place until Lot got a move on, out of there. Why did God even bother taking notice of Abraham? Because He honoured His blood covenant. The most important thing about cutting covenant are the promises that the shed blood ratifies. Jesus Himself before going to the cross said that He had given us God's word. He rated it of such high importance. [don't get me wrong - there is power in the blood and WHAT the blood has done] I do not pray for example...Lord Jesus I plead your blood in this situation... No I pray specifically, the promise/word that His blood guarantees and enforces with my faith in the earth. Then I know I have it in Heaven. This is my authority that He gave me to use. Covenant relationship is designed to eliminate weaknesses. e.g. Now the weak can say I am strong, because we exchange our weakness for God's strength. The greater party covers the weaker. God did not WANT the Israelites to exchange His strength for a weak king, but He was honour bound by His word... because He was in covenant with them. He has established it this way. He holds His word, His promises so highly that He staked His son's life on it and will not violate it. He places His word/covenant promises above all. Pre- Jesus entering on the scene in His Adamic earth suit, God will find a believer to believe what He says. That makes faith. Then by faith God can manifest. The faith was in the earth suit connecting to God to get His will done. Look at Mary, 'be it unto me according to your word'. That gave God legal permission to bring forth Jesus, whom He had prophesied, spoken into existence for so long through believing men and women. Do you see the pattern? It is no different for us today... We decree things lawful (permitted) in the earth realm, or unlawful. As we do, it is the same in Heaven. Going back to Saul's example. There is a permissive side to God's will. Another example, the Israelites wanted meat, God sent Quail, they got leanness of soul. (not God's best) Because that is what they chose. Saul represented a turning of their backs on the Blessing and a return to less than the best. However, not only did God honour His side of things, He set in motion the restoratation to the Blessing in David/Jesus. He did not want the Israelites to remain in less than the best, i.e. the curse. Now that explains to me, why God says, choose life that you might live. I often think, well who would be dumb enough to choose death? Answer, all of us, in our ignorance! God LEGALLY entered into man's affairs in an earth suit. [the devil didn't] The only legal entrance into this earth is through the womb of a woman. God 'IN' man is the Christ part. The God part, Anointed part. Jesus said He was the Son of Man, and inside Him was the Christ, just like in us today. Now with legal entrance into this earth, a speaking Spirit can decree a thing and God can bring it to pass, in line with His word. That is why it is so important for us to be careful of what we speak. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. We get to choose our fruit. The Israelites made a poor choice and got the resultant fruit. But God still honoured His method of operation that He set up in the earth. He is bound to His word. The title sounds arrogant I know...but do you ever ask God stuff and marvel at the answers He drops into your spirit? I asked Jesus one day when I was in a bit of a pickle in my prayer time...as I had been praying to 'Father' quite a lot recently. "Oh Jesus, I'm sorry...I've been so busy talking to Father, I seem to be tagging You onto the end of my prayers!!!" Then I said, "Oh Holy Spirit I don't mean to leave You out..!" I was starting to get all upset, because I loved them all and didn't want to miss anyone out. Then Jesus spoke up on the inside of me and said in such a Love filled, peace filled, gentle, wonderful voice. "I and My Father are One." [Echad - Hebrew meaning Oneness of the Elohim triune God] Now to all you out there, that is so glaringly obvious. But at the time it wasn't to me, I caught the Rhema of that, and now don't beat myself up anymore. The mechanics are, that all my prayers go to Father, in the name of Jesus, through the Holy Spirit in me. And I am now one with the Trinity! Thank You Jesus! Echad indeed! Every day the Schema is said by Israelis. "Hear oh Israel, the Lord, the Lord our God is One". Amen to that! On another note, I went for a long walk praying in tongues one day, and by the end I felt so frustrated! I wanted to address the Holy Spirit more intimately and not call Him by a title, so to speak. Again, in frustration I cried out and asked, "Aaargh! What do I call You?" As I approached my home, He breathed softly into my spirit...and it was only one name..."Friend." Oh wow! I have since learned that friend, and friendship are covenant words. Many years later, that wonderful song has come out, titled, 'I am a friend of God' and the lyrics respond, 'He, calls me friend'. Now this last one, really made me laugh... Karen asks... "God? Scientists and physicists call it, 'the anomalous expansion of water'. You know God? Like when water freezes on top of a pond? Yet underneath it is still liquid, at a temperature of 4 degrees... Why did you make it do that?" God's reply...? "So that the fish wouldn't die." Talk about matter of fact and practical! Aw Hindsfeet, I join my prayers to yours too... Father God, I know that at the root of the emotion of anger is fear, hurt, frustration.... all these. For Hindsfeet and her husband and family I pray Your peace in Jesus' name. Let the wicked one touch them not. I bind the spirits of confusion and division in this situation, both at home and overseas as Hindsfeet and her husband are one in you. Where confusion and division are, there is every evil work. As for his colleagues Father, I speak forgiveness, for they know not what they do. I loose the Blessing upon them and Your peace. Father I cancel every assignment against Hindsfeet's husband in Jesus name and loose Your love. Your perfect developed love casts out all fear, for against such love, there is no law that can stand. Not even the law of sin and death. No weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against it in judgement, shall be condemned. [shown to be in the wrong] This is Hindsfeet's heritage as a servant of the Most High God [and it covers her husband] and their righteousness is from You oh Lord. Father bless You and thank You for Your goodness, which we release now in this situation. Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. We declare it in Jesus' name...Amen

These are just my thoughts and impressions.... It is sensbible to be aware of basic hygiene. Never be afraid though, even if that 'fear' is for the safety of a loved one. We sanctify our food through the word and prayer and we trust in what we believe. I think the issue here is really fear. Perfect developed love (of God) casts out all fear, for fear involves torment. God's way is the way of peace. His Presence removes burdens and destroys yokes. (not put them on us) Even if the woman was a witch, or was not a witch, we all know that the spoken word carries power. We hear people curse themselves each day by the words which they speak, and their untamed tongues. Have a quiet time, and forgive. Ask Jesus to show you how He viewed the event, then prayerfully listen. Our God is a God of peace. If you need to do anything, the Comforter will show you. Karen
