I had a dream where I was in the cafeteria of a high school. People began bringing out all kinds of different cakes and pies and placed them on the tables. It seemed like there was a tasting. At first I didn't want to eat any of them because I wasn't invited to this thing and didn't think that just anybody was allowed to eat. They kept bringing out more and more cakes and pies and setting them on the tables. Coconut. Cheesecakes of all kinds, chocolate pies, red velvet cake, carrot cake. There were so many! Everyone was sampling them and eventually I realized that it might be ok to have some so I did. They just kept bringing more and more. Everyone was trying them. Then they began to bring out lots of different kinds of key lime pie (which is my fav) and I got a bunch of those samples together and began tasting them. Then they brought out ice cream cake, oreo icecream, my fav also!

What do dessert pies and cakes mean?

I was going to send you a msg but I got a phone call and became completely distracted. It wasn't that important though :-)

Amen Lady! He's very specific about things, especially when it comes to Him and His stuff. I just pray Father and believe in Jesus name that the Lord will reveal the exact plans of the enemy and the exact names to these wonderful men and women of God who've been with this ministry for many years and that they will be able to confirm with each other what you have revealed to them Lord Jesus. In Jesus mighty name I ask and pray, Amen.

Ah ha!! I will definitely pray about that D. What you said makes a lot of sense. Especially about the vacuuming being my prayers and possibly being trapped and being used to it those really rung true with my spirit.
I wonder why there 5 spiders, one of which is grey? 5 always reminds me of grace, I wonder if it means like an imitation of grace. hmm? I will pray about in light of the other things you mentioned.

Ok, the person who is driving this truck in the dream, I knew back in HS. Haven't seen him in over 10 years... I don't think this dream is literal. Also we were driving while I was vacuuming the back of of his truck, just because I was back there, typically you would vacuum a parked car while your cleaning it out u know? Anyways here's the dream:

I'm in the back of Dylan truck. His friend is with him can't remember who. I think we are driving in NC. The carpet is blue and I am vacuuming. I see a black little house spider and vacuum it up. I am scared of spiders, girly scared though, like eeeek ewww don't want it to crawl on me and wanting to get rid them quickly. Then I see another one and vacuum it up. There are five spiders I wind up vacuuming up. 4 of them are little black house spiders and one looks exactly like the others except it is grey. They remind me of spiders I have seen in RL. I tell Dylan about the spiders and he says what's new and mentions something about his cabin and having to deal with spiders all the time.

I was reading a news article and felt particularly led to pray for the workers at the plant that are trying to repair reactor no.1 the main one causing the problems. reports are still sketchy at the moment... but the radioation level in the control room (designed to be safe for workers, even in the event of an emegency) had radiation levels 1,000 times what is normal... the report said it was not "immediately" harmful... :-\

I pray that the Lord would supernaturally heal and protect these workers as they put their lives on the line to save the lives of millions... thank you Lord for these precious men and women and all you are doing for them Lord God, for uncommon wisdom and revelation knowledge to swiftly repair this reactor.... thank you for healing and protecting their bodies. Father thank you for giving them great success as they work to repair the cooling system. Thank you for sending your angels and providing uncommon miracles in this matter. Father I am so thankful for our Japanese brothers and sisters in Japan and so thankful for all you are doing there. May your Glory be revealed as you and your heavenly angels work repairing the city, healing, saving, protecting, rescuing, comforting, guiding and directing people in the aftermath of this disaster. In Jesus mighty name I lift this prayer to you... and continue to pray for the many urgent needs in Japan... Amen.

I know all of u are probably aware of the 8.9m earthquake in Japan yesterday.

I just felt the need to post an urgent prayer request (though I am sure all of u are already praying) for the repair of the reactor and rescue of victims trapped or injured in the quake.

I find testimonies like that very encouraging as well. They remind me of the urgency of leading people to Christ. I've heard people tell of how they've heard the Holy Spirit say to them in their spirit's to share the Lord with a particular person while they were just out and going about their day. It may sound stupid and make you feel uncomfortable but you never know, that may be their last opportunity to trust in Jesus.

The colors being alive would make so much sense! You know how in children's movies, where the story line is very imaginative, the animators/ set designers go all out giving everything, including inanimate objects, the appearance of having playfulness and life to them? I bet heaven is that way. Everything having a life of it's own yet all harmonizing together in this beautiful symphony.

I find that when I am really awake, everything has life and meaning. Even the simplest activities are like little adventures. The day is like a beautiful song someone is playing and I'm just dancing in it. For me, this is like my faith walk... it's not about trying to get more faith, be this or be that, but awakening again and again to Spirit of Christ Jesus that is in me and all around me all the time and I was just unaware of it.

I agree w/ Delightful's interpretation. I'm not an interpreter so pray about the following, I've found that in my dreams where there is a sword along with the enemy. It's about a battle of words. The enemies attacks will be accusatory in nature, ie unkind/false words people will speak to you or about you or thoughts that you begin to think as a result of those attacks that will distract you from what God has said about the matter. You having a golden sword from the Lord is beautiful. I believe that represents the life giving words the Lord has given you to defeat all the lies/distractions/accusations of the enemy. Though you were exhausted, you won :-) What wonderful encouragement from the Lord... also the fact that you are directly in front of His throne! YAY :-)

That's exactly what I thought the dream was about when I read it traveler. I think your on with your thoughts/prayers about it. I'm not an interpreter but your own interpretation seems correct to me.

It really helps my Spirit a lot. I'm artsy fartsy and music has always been a passion of mine so when He speaks to me like that... using the poetry or art of others, it's so personal and beautiful, sometimes the timing is so impeccable that it brings me to tears.

It's like He always finds a way to give me a shot of Faith when I am puttering out of steam, as if to say... I know... I know... I know you can't yet see what I've spoken... I know you've given it your all... I know it's been a long time... you said at the end it was total chaos and you and Jesus were going through the building... did u know why they wouldn't listen to you?

I wonder if they smelt like sulfur? I've had several dreams where He has shown me them in dreams. In the one I am referring to it was this gang and when I prayed about who the gang was I felt like the Lord told me they were "familiar spirits." Have you ever known anyone who dreamed of gangs? the familiar spirits in the dream were sent to a. steal and tear my car apart. b. decieve and keep that person from knowing the Lord.

In the same dream with the gang, there was a ferocious woman with a sword wearing an orange shirt trying to kill me when I prayed about it I felt as though it was a Jezebel spirit, the woman was trying to attack me at my neighbors house? The people in these dreams are not christians.

I've had a dream where there were a bunch of colored orbs in a church and I was pointing saying "see I told you there were demons." I've had a dream with a woman laughing sadistically floating in red who in the dream I was commanding out of the church in the name of Jesus with my pastor... I'm so tired of demons. :- ( the people in these dreams are christians.

Oooooh!!!!!!!!!! Mia, that is such a good explanation! I didn't get that before. The Lord once lead me to learn about spiritual warfare early last year and I read someones prayer where they commanded a demon searching oracle sent to discover their progress out in the name of Jesus... I thought that was like maybe someone had put a curse on you or something. I didn't know they could just follow you around. Ugh....

How often do you have to command these things to leave you so that the enemy cannot know your progress? (oppression)

And for clarification, if someone had a familiar spirit (possessing them) what would they do to get deliverance?

I'm asking because now-a-days astrology, new agey stuff, pornography, promiscuity and drug usage is so prevalent and accepted that I don't think people truly realize that such things open the door to the demonic in our lives, that demons are real... I am concerned about people my age because churches often don't talk about this openly, demons and such, and I don't know how to explain it to them in a way that makes sense. About how serious it is to turn from that stuff, repent, and ask the Lord for deliverance from any evil spirit that might have come into them or around them as a result of dabbling in those things.

I'm really glad ya'll are talking about this subject. It caused me a bunch of confusion at one time. I agree w/ what yall said and that is how I view things as well.

I will refrain from commenting on this chapter because of how much theology and doctrine you'd have to get into about it, which I don't feel qualified to do so I will ask yall's help, the seasoned veterans :-)

People may have questions in relation to Acts 16, What have you guys turned up with on your studies of that chapter? Secondly, what would you say to someone if they were concerned that they had such a spirit?

Ok, u know how u can hit thumbs up etc... and Pandora will choose similar songs. I don't do that, I just let it go. I have a list of stations that goes everywhere from Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong to Gnarls Barkley and Coldplay. It's really random, and none of the artists are too similar.

I will hit play on the "Quick Mix" option and it will be one song after the other talking about my situation and Jesus. It happens all the time. I Love Jesus, He's the best DJ ever.

I am so glad you asked that!!! It's a recent thing in my dreams, last month, I had two different dreams with music in them. In one there was a song playing as the credits rolled on a movie screen. In another the song was just on in the background while the events were going on. I'm still out on their significance. I get the gist, but not the totality, ya know?

Connie, -lol- that's awesome. I was @ church once and there was this lady behind me and she was singing off key. I love people that don't care and lift their voice to the Lord regardless so it didn't bother me, but I switched sides with my friend b/c it was getting me off key -lol-. The woman was so sweet, she said to me later "I'm sorry about my off key singing." I was like Oh no worries, I love stuff like that. Ugh! foot in mouth disease... it came out all wrong. I felt like such an idiot. I really did mean it that it didn't bother me. I should have said something like "It sounded beautiful to me, I was about to join u" -lol- Lord help me think b4 I speak!
