Mark, the same thing happened to me with the job I have now. It seemed impossible to me to get it. I had an interview and the Lord actually turned the favour of one person who interviewed me towards me. The reason why I was failing in receiving jobs previously was exactly what he liked about me - go figure! I did not get the job the first time though. But 3 months later I got another interview and was offered the position right on the spot with the salary I did not even expect (my expectations were quite low those days because I looked at the circumstances way too much :-) ) Prior to my first interview I was praying in tongues one day and all of a sudden I felt like leaping with joy, praising God. I had no idea why I felt this way. In the natural we were in a very gloomy situation with our finances. I lost my previous job due to my previous employer's bankruptcy. But I understood this later when I got the job. I later found out that more experienced people in the field applied for this job and failed! God gave it to me instead :-)

Praise God! Don't look into your earthly citizenship. You have HEAVENLY citizenship! You DO have a very distinctive difference about you - you are a CHILD OF GOD ALMIGHTY! This is how you are going to stand out in your job search. Don't think that people who are hiring are the ones that will grant you the perfect job position! No, no no! Your God is your Source. He will give you the best job there is! He will create a job specifically for you if need be, not according to your skills or even education but according to His RICHES AND GLORY! Why? Because HE CAN! So how do you receive it? Stop looking at your past experiences! Stop looking at the economical and job situation! This is a deadly TRAP! This will entangle you with the spirit of practicality which in reality is the spirit of curse. It will make you curse your blessings. I know. I've so been there! I thought too I was being practical, but what business do we, children of God Almighty have to be practical?! Here's a good point here - do you believe that you are saved? Do you believe that Jesus gave His life for you on the Cross so you can be saved from eternal damnation? If your answer is "yes", be very careful how you answer the next one: Do you believe that the sacrifice of Jesus' life is esteemed by God less than a gift of a perfect job? Why do we think that God esteems Jesus' Sacrifice LESS that material gifts? Like jobs, cars, debt-free living etc? Isn't it an abomination to our Father God? I used to think just like you about these things. Something like "Yeah, right. Like God is going to give me a better car, the one that I really would like to have. I don't even deserve it." And immediately I heard this conviction in my spirit: "Do you think you deserved Salvation?" That stopped me cold. I will NEVER think like this again. EVER! What I would strongly suggest in your situation - stop investing your time into looking at your experience, job market, other people etc. Invest your time into learning about your Father's LOVE for you. Spend as much time as you can each day doing this. Praise Him, tell Him how much you love Him, trust Him. Ask Him to show you all the great and wonderful things He's got for you and teach you how to receive them. He will! You will see that eventually it will become very easy to believe Him for awesome things and actually receive the manifestation of them in the natural.

This is just what I think, so please toss it if it does not feel right. I'd say, Cholette, that your friend is still in God's Hand. So often we put this burden on our shoulders that isn't even ours. Even when it seems like people are taking a nose dive and are going to be ruind, I believe that they are still in God's Hands and He is in control. He will put plenty of other laborers on your friend's path and turn him around. Maybe your friend needs to walk this path to an extend if he does not see the stuation clearly yet. I believe God can still catch him and turn things around at any point. I understand there might be some pain involved for him and his kids and that's very sad, but God gave us free will to choose which way to go. You did what you could - you gave him the message, you prayed. There is not need to put your life on hold because of this. Just pray for him and believe in God's power to get him out of this mess. Father, we thank You for keeping Your hand on this man and his family. We thank You that You never leave nor forsake us. Thank You, that You gave us the authority to bind on earth all evil powers that work against us and they will be bound in heaven, in Jesus' Name. So we do this, we bind all evil forces that blind Cholette's frind and try to get him off the right path, in Jesus' Name and we fully believe and trust that You are bigger than any evil army formed against this man. We thank You that You guide him down the right path for Your Name's sake and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Father, we ask You to open up his eyes that he can see the trap of the enemy and step around it. We thank You for sending Your Angels to minister to this man and keep him and his family safe and free from hurt and any destruction. We praise You and glorify Your Name! in Jesus' Name. Amen!

Thank you, Ruth, for your encouragement!! I still had to fight off bitter feelings later during the day and even at night. I kept crying out to the Lord to free me and at about 4 am I felt the greatest relief ever. I feel like I said earlier - like being left out of a prison. I feel like this freedom is a blessing on its own and if I do get a promotion (which looks pretty much impossible in the natural) that would be a bonus! The real blessing is to actually experience in your very own life the redemption of the Lord! I mean - you pray from a pit of hell and He comes and simply gets you right out so wonderfully tat no enemy can keep you in a pit. Isn't it the most amazing thing ever! It gives you so much courage to stand for anything and believe for anything at all! I mean satan lost HUGE TIME! Another thing I have learned and would suggest to check when you stand against an offense - make sure you get your heart HEALED - set free from bitterness. Very often it is much easier to "hide" it deep into your heart, kind of bottle it up, cover up instead of actually getting rid of it. Many blessings, astra

I am so so so happy for your mom! I keep praying and praising God for your mom's COMPLETE healing and restoration. I pray that God not just heals this, but everything else in her body that needs restoration and healing touch and that He renews her youth like the eagle's! I give thanks and praises to our God Almighty for in Him we have healing and total restoration! I pray God blesses you and your mom beyond any imagination!

Ok, WOW! I don't know what's just happened, but it STOPPED HURTING!! It does not hurt anymore. Someone must of already prayed for me. This is so important to me! Dear Saints, may I humbly ask you for your prayerful support for the following issue: last night I had a dream that a military person was talking to me about something. I can't remember what he was telling me but as he was talking, he was spitting on me. Not just a bit (you know how people sometimes spit a little when they talk). I did not see him spit on me, just talk but I had his disgusting spit on me like he just spat on me on purpose several times. I had it on my arms. It was slimy and disgusting and I was trying to get it all off. Sure enough, today at work I found out that I was back-stabbed at work. It was a complete shock. So anyway, what my request is - I REFUSE to take an offense. I am not going to keep this against my boss (not because I am such a great person, but because my Lord and Saviour said NOT TO!). It still hurts like crazy though. I am giving this situation to God to deal with it as He pleases. I want to honor my Lord Jesus though. Please agree with me that the Lord will guard my heart from letting in bitterness and rebuke all satan's lies and temptations to get upset!. Father, I pray for this family situation and I ask You, Lord, t step in and heal it. Father, I pray that You protect this teenage boy and bless him with peace and security. I pray Psalm 91 over him and cover him with Jesus' Precious Blood. I speak in faith that he is hidden in Your secret place where no evil can reach him. Thank You, Lord, that You care for this boy, that Your Angels carry him in their hands, that You are making his path easy and his ways straight I thank You, Lord, that NO WEAPON formed against him shall prosper. Daisy, I agree with you in faith for your brother-in-law to be sickness-FREE! Stand on Nahum 1:9: What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time. (KJV) Cast out fears and speak blessings over him! Blessings spoken have such a great and amazing power to drive out all evil opressions and bring in freedom, wholness, healing not just physical, but deep healing of the heart. I began doing this and some pretty amazing things are happening! Glory to God! Father, in Jesus' Name, I curse this spirit of lymphoma and every prion in this young man's body. I curse the spirit of death, in the Name of Jesus Christ! I bless his body to have brand new healthy, healed, restored lymphatic system! I speak complete and total restoration of every single cell in his body to complete healthy function, in Jesus' Name! Thank You, Lord for setting him free according to Your Word in John 8:36 - if the Son set him free, he is FREE INDEED!. I speak Isaiah 54:17 over this man - no weapon formed against him shall prosper, be it physical or spiritual weapon. I speak freedom, healing, restoration, strength, health, I speak that his youth is renewed like the eagle's (Psalm 103:5), in Jesus' Name! Amen and Amen!

Just wanted to add one more thing. I firmly belive that no matter how great the circumstances in our lives can be, the joy from this cannot even be compared with the joy we have in the Lord! We can have great health, all the money in the world, greatest relationships with people, and even all these combined together won't give you the depth of joy we have in the Lord even without any of these. I also believe that even if and when we do have all the above earthly blessings, without God, we will never have true joy. The enemy will always try and put seeds of doubts in our hearts: "what if this or that is taken from you? How would you feel then?" And besides all the above things are temporary! They all pass away. So why wait till things go right in our lives? Let's start rejoicing RIGHT NOW!! Right where we are! We have the best reason for it! Our God is WITH US!!!!

Hi Sagtog, I am sorry to hear about all these hardships you are going through, but allow me encourage you that all this is temporary and it will pass. I realise it's easier to advise to be strong and patient, than maybe do at certain stages of our lives. But that's the truth. Remember what Psalm 23 says: verses 4 to 6 "4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever." I LOVE these verses. They are so comforting! I think all you need to do is decide where you stand with God. It's a very common mistake people make thinking that God does not care when things don't go the way we want them to go. Like lost job, financial problems, health problems etc. That's what this pressure was designed to do (by our enemy of course) - to make us think that God just couldn't care less. God never promised that troubles won't come! He promised that He will get us out of troubles. He promised that He will be WITH US every step of the way. Would you belive Him? I certainly do! I have decided to myself no matter what is going on in my life, troubles or not, difficulties or "sunshine and butterflies" :-) I will praise Him, I will LOVE HIM I will adore Him because He is WORTHY! I don't care what is happening in my life, I will ALWAYS DELIGHT in His presence! I simply can't be any other way after getting to know Him! Our Love for God does not depend on our life condition! Our conditions do change, He DOES NOT! Praise God! HE was an AWESOME GOD before we were born, and He stayed that way without a shadow of changes. I've read in the devotional book I got from my church these wonderful words "When we have nothing left but God, we find that God is enough" :-) This is so true! I hope I am not sounding too harsh! Belive me I know exactly how you feel. I've been there and I am SO GLAD I'm not in that place anymore. I promise you all your bitterness and pain will be GONE if you just spend time with the Lord, without any other agenda but to get to know Him, share your heart with Him. Tell Him about all your hurts and feelings. He CARES and He does heal! He is not an angry God. He wants to take all your hurts and pain away. I know how it feels. When you have no one esle to turn to other than God and you think that even He does not care it's a very tough place! Full of confusion and anger. But it does not have to stay that way! He is always there. I've learned this from experience. I can tell you some amazing things, situations when He spoke to me when I did not even think He was listening or even cared, He encouraged me and I simply cannot turn back to my old ways of being angry at Him or think He does not care. Father, I ask for this boy to guide his steps and speak Your words of love, deepest care, confidence, security IN YOU right into his ears day and night. Joseph Prince is awesome! I did not know about him back then. I was listening mostly to Gloria Copeland's Healing School. She is absolutely amazing in building up your faith in God's Will to heal you. I bought her "Be Made Whole" CDs, "Healing and Wellness" package (book, CD's with healing praise and confessions and DVD with amazing testimonies!), and her "Healing School" CD package. Their website is www.kcm.org. I was listening to them everywhere I possibly could. (I still do!) I believe that Jesus' very presence HEALES! Just by being in His Holy Presence alone would heal. By praising Him, worshiping Him, entering into His presence you will feel changes in your heart and body. There's no trick to it, no secret, just seek Him with all your heart and simply receive. I find that no matter how much your already know Him, you can still receive more!!! Your faith will be getting so much stronger day after day after day. You will notice that from simply saying the words of healing confessions, your heart will be able to "live" and "feel" everything you are saying like it has already happened. This is an amzing feeling! I don't believe any sickness can possibly stay in our bodies much longer after this. It is going to HAVE TO LEAVE!! I also found amazing preacher - John Kilpatrick. Yes, this is exactly what I am doing - pleading Jesus' Blood over them many many times a day as well as speak peace, kindness, forgiveness etc into their hearts and minds. I even call for angels of Peace to minister peace into the family if I feel like kids' rebellious and stubborn attitudes might spark an escalation of anger. And absolutely NO fight happens! I rebuke all lies of the enemy and bind all demons of infirmity, in Jesus' Mighty Name. I thank my Heavenly Father, than in Him Laura's son has wholeness and healing already according to 1 Peter 2:24. I call him whole and healthy - his heart and every single organ in his body - nothing missing, nothing broken! Hi Laura, Thank you so very much for your prayer! I did feel it too! I had chills all over when I was reading it. Well, I've just gathered all my courage and strength and talked to my husband about all this. God really gave me words to say to him. I am not sure what kind of "degree" of victory I got tonight, but I know I got through. Halleluiah! It was all God! He just kept giving me words to say. I would of never thought of it myself. I was not sure where to post this - in prayer request or counseling section as I need both BADLY! I have a very tough situation at home for the restoration of my family. The devil has been stealing our peace for over 10 years now. It feel like I can't take another day of this. Our kids are 17 (my husband's son) and 19 (my daughter). It's both my husband's and my second marriage. My husband's son lives 1 week with us and 1 week with his mom. Both kids have their issues and are acting up alot. Unfortunately I did not see it before and was trying to discipline them which did not work at all. Things were only getting worse progressively. Now the Lord is showing me the underlying reasons why they are acting like that. I see we have to go after the evil spirits that are bothering the kids and just show them (the kids) unconditional love and forgiveness. I am praying for both of them to come to the Lord, receive His peace and Joy and easiness of heart and mind. I am asking Jesus daily to heal their hearts and make them whole. The problem is I am the only one who is fighting the spiritual fight. My husband is still going after the flesh and this makes things much worse. The only thing kids see from him is disciplining and bitterness. I understand that this is a natural reaction to their rebellion, but if they are under influence of these spirits, they can't just snap out of is because of us disciplining them. They need tons of prayers from both of us. I do the very best I can praying, but I do need my husband's help!!! I am seeing results of prayers, but it's so far from total victory. I don't know how much more time it would need to overcome this bondage. It's like coming against a train for me. He keeps yelling at his son all the time because he "can't take it any more" and keeps pushing him away. Every time my daughter comes to apologize for her mess ups he always says something nasty and bitter back to her. This does not help and makes the situation worse. This is like constant confrontation where everyone loses. I need my husband to forgive our kids and understand that they need prayer, not bitterness. I don't want to lose our kids. I don't want them to pull away from us and be distant the whole life. I simply can't let this happen! But it's so hard to stand alone!!! Could you please pray for healing for my family - that God touches my husband's heart and heals it, that he knows the true reason why things are like that and does not feel this pain while standing for our kids in prayer. We need a MIRACLE of forgiveness for each other so much! I would also very much appreciate your suggestions as to what else I can do to improve this situation. I very much would like to talk to my husband and tell him what I feel needs to be done, but don't want to catch him in a bad mood so he will just ignore everything I said or simply think I am trying to cover up for the kids. I need strength to deliver the message in love (which I very much have for my husband and it hurts me greatly to see him suffering for basically no reason).
