The fluffy ones are cute, I have just started to get some (I bought the purple and blue ones and bred out the ear markings to get solid ones! And I also have a calico one I traded for). Please feel free to SB to my fluffy cats - the solid ones are in room 2 and the calico is in room 4. Stasia, you are already a neighbor of me Anyone else, add me if you want! Lately I am mostly trying to breed tuxedo cats, completely solid ones, nearly solid ones with different tail, and calicos without stripes or spots... I am making good progress. Ultimate goal - tuxedo cats with various leg colors and random eyes... Also if anyone gets a tuxedo cat with matching mask please let me know if you will trade me it (or give me... saw some giving away without code yesterday but couldn't get it... because... got my first bear! it is brown and has panda eyes and I have no room for it in the house yet! must wait till I level up to put it out! Almost level 60!

I have seen movies that were better than the books they were based on - a few - and a lot of movies where they weren't anywhere near as good as the books. There have been a bunch of movies based on the Dortmunder books by Donald Westlake, none have been as good as the books, but there's been a huge variation on which ones were better and which were worse movies, too. I think the Jurassic park movie was better than the book - it's just way better seeing the dinosaurs also I don't like the way Crichton writes

hi Ursula! I like all the authors on your list except for David Eddings (though never read Holdstock either). my favorite authors are - Connie Willis, Iain Banks, Steven Brust, Roberta Gellis, Diana Wynne Jones, Sarah Bird, Terry Pratchett, Nancy Kress, and Barbara Paul. Well, that's some of them, the ones I thought of off the top of my head And I probably like Ursula LeGuin as much as most of those on the list, too:)

ok, here is another possibility. You said this friend is fine sometimes and then other times she gets very quiet. Maybe she has a cyclical depression. A lot of people get them where they have strong mood swings. So maybe give her a chance to be quiet at times and not respond, think of it as a way to let her recover and her mood will go back to chatting again later? I just happened to have several friends with either cyclical depression or bipolar disorder online for a while (not right now, but about 4 or 5 years ago I found out at the same time that 3 online friends had this) and that's just what one of them was like (how you describe) - even down to where she was sometimes very self centered in her role playing activities but other times a great friend. finally I figured out what it was after the other 2 friends mentioned their problem...

That is bad news about neighbors poisoning each others' pets. When my husband was young, his neighbors used to shoot each others' pets! One of his cats and one of his neighbors' dogs was shot! When we were dating he would tell me stories of how bad that was in his neighborhood as a boy. Now after hearing that I only keep my pets inside my house where no one can hurt them. But so far in my neighborhood everyone is tolerant to each others' pets and no shooting or poisoning has happened. I hope it stays good like this. Training dogs is hard work but it can be done and dogs learn very well when you get the hang of it. You can find a lot of good dog training videos on YouTube. I will not post a url because it is against rules but I will see if the site admin will let me give you a url of a dog training video that is very useful later.

Jean-Pierre is so pretty. He looks like a cat my friend used to have many years ago. Right now, I have 3 cats who I have had for a very long time, they are all elderly and never go outside. The oldest is the male, he is 16 years old and still in good health. He is all black but his whiskers have turned white now that he is old! The other two are a tabby with long fur and a mostly gray, dilute "calico" of orange tabby, gray tabby and white). They are 13 years old and sisters from the same litter. The gray one is very fat and the other is tiny and thin. You would almost not believe they are sisters!
