Bit off topic, just to point out that Mattel Malaysia (MMSB) which produce the cars overseen by US Mattel, and Mattel Southeast Asia (SEA) located in Tropicana are completely two separate entities and therefore Mattel SEA (which specifically handles distribution part) can't entertain your complaints over whatever stuff happening in Penang plant, how each wave are assorted every cases etc. Complaints should be made directly to MMSB, better still we have 'insiders' here in HWCM who can help pass the message. Sinclair i suggest you use black spray can (lacquer) rather than using marker if you want it to be in good shape in long term. Maybe just take small amount of paintdrop to touch up instead of respraying the whole thing.

Anyway just to share wit y'all undercover shots of Hotwheels factory in Penang.. This is where Hotwheels cars are mass produced (unable to get closer shot cause the security guard is a playa hater). The building is pretty huge, this is just one side of it. Not many knows that few blocks away is actually where whatever stuff being done before cars begin mass production. Local engineers working closely with Hotwheels designers aka ES (El Segundo) team over in US, translating their designs into the real thing.
