Another one form my first Series, this time a Taildragger, one of the castings I really enjoy working on. Airbrushed with metallic truefire using one of KB's stencils, foil for the trim and lights, and rolling on a set of whitewalls. This one is now at home with its new owner in South Australia. Thanks for looking

Got a PM from Sinclair... said he sent me some of his "extra cars" because I collect some of the castings. This is what arrived...... WOW Kmart exclusive Olds 442 for my Olds 442 collection New colour garage 64 Lincoln for my collection And the 71 Mach1 Mustangs are just sooo cool, beautlful ...... I think I'm collecting them too now The others will be for Kustomz... although the Nova is really cool, and I will have trouble making myself take it out of the packet. Thank you Sinclair, I hope I can find someting for you in return.

Another one from my series of 10 cars...... the Deora2 Had to grind away half the interior and engine bay to get the wheels in there, and they are jammed in so tight that it rolls as smoothly as a pallet of bricks......... but......the important thing is that the wheels look great on this casting. Casting: HW Deora2 Paint: Orange fade with purplw/silver flames (using flame mask by KB), foil for lights Wheels: Maisto Thanks for looking.

Thorrr replied to diecastfreak's topic in Gatherings
There is a chance that I might go to KustomKon.... my bosses boss has requested that I attend a trade conference in Las Vegas the week after Kustomkon, and if the send me, I'll request to go a couple of days early and go to Dallas The only thing in Oz is the DUDE get-together every 2 years....Oz and NZ, 2009 was in NZ, and 2011 is in Melbourne, never been to one but aparently everyone goes to someones house for the weekend..........not really much of a "convention" -

In Australia, some Maistos are cheap....at "the reject shop" they are AU$2.00, at TRU some are AU$2.99, so I strated buying some for wheel donors for my Kustomz, but have now also started collection some. Here are some of them..... Now.... I think these are Chase cars: This one is matt black with black chrome wheels, red tires and red glass.... 1 of 2500 Reds: Blacks: some I have more than one of Spoiler: I have also started collectiong 2 of my favorite Muscle Cars.... Oldsmobile 442: and the 1971 Camaro Z/28 The rest of my Maistos are wheel donors for Kustomz... although some castings ( like the VW Samba van ) I will keep to kuztomize. VW Muscle cars Pickups, Hot Rods, wagons, modern and 60's cars

so..we recomended thorr to be our next year customizer sifu to custom the club cars!! Errrrm......I'm happy that so many of the members here like the DDs, but I remember how many club/dinner cars there were, and with the time it takes to airbrush the flames, it would be a couple of years before I would have enough done.... how about I do 3 that can be raffle or door prizes? The + and - are pretty close together, it could have been a mistake... no need to get angry, we are here to have fun

Well...that topic heading is a bit "in crowd" Came to Malaysia for a 2 week holiday, on our last day before going back to Oz, we made our way to Amcorp and caught up with friends from this forum. Apart from taking over some HWs that are hard to find in Malaysia (kind of ironic... since that's where they are made) I decided to do a couple of Kustom RAOKs as well. Decal for the roof logo, airbrushed metalic truefire, foil for the chrome trim, wheels by Maisto. The yellow/red one was for Rayz-HWC, for being a friend and making us feel so welcome The purple one for DanielH for sharing his clever kustomizing ideas with the rest of us Kustomizers The blue one for Eight for creating such a cool logo for HWC Malaysia I think these turned out really good and I'm happy with them. A few of the other guys also liked them and asked if there were more of these DDs..... there isn't yet, but keep an eye for more colour combinations that will be made and sent to KL. Thanks for looking.

While meeting with fellow members of HWCM at Amcorp earlier on Sunday 22nd, Rayz told me that since I was flying back to Australia, I should check out the shops at the airport. Well... after checking in our luggage, I had a quick look around the shops outside but found nothing, so we had a bit to eat instead, and then went into the international terminal...when we go through security, I see a shop called "Toy Paradise" and I go have a look.... I look at HW drink bottles, HW pencil cases. HW colouring books, HW bags, and then go look at pegs, but nothing for me to haul, but as I start to go out, the guy from the shop comes up to me and says "would you be interested in this?" Spoiler: I said "YES" and bought it, shook his hand and thanked him... I had a reg and am very happy to now also have $uper
