Camaro's from Welly. A brand from China I think? It's really an amazing piece and might have fooled people into believing it is some other makes. I bought this from Genting Highland's Toy City at First World Plaza. Saleen's from Autoart! Bought it from KLCC at a shop that used to sell Nikkon models. The shop seized operation many years ago though...

Wow! Thanks for posting this picture! I don't know if other forumer has it but there is a green/black Daytona with rubber tyres. I know it because I used to have it as a kid... before the transition from player to collector... Now if only... Nonetheless, there's always the Plymouth Superbird... Well, as I mentioned before... On the left is the Charger Daytona I have "rescued" from the hands of a close relative's grandchildren. On the right is my favourite yellow Superbird! I have used some solvent to clean up the car. I grew up playing with this, which explains the "scars". Full metal base and Real Riders! Obviously, this car is not in show room condition but it still holds a great value to me. Any one out there who's interested to help me do some "restoration"?

http://forums.hotwheelscollectors.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/55210875/m/1751006685/p/2 Here is the thread which prompted to check my own R8. Perhaps you guys should check if your R8 is plastic too... Anyway, back to topic. I am quite convinced that the R8 I saw at TRU was plastic. Hopefully, there will be metal variants too and hopefully they will phase out the plastic ones...

Are you sure it is 100% plastic? You held one in your hands? I find this very unlikely. There was a thread on HWC Message Board which prompted me to check my own R8. Apparently I never realized mine's plastic until now... I did not open it of course since I did not buy it. Hehe~ But based on it's weight by comparing with the Reventon... I had a thorough look at the surface finish too and find it to be very plasticky... I hope I am wrong so any one out there who can verify this please do so thanks.

As mentioned before. Here are some pictures I managed to take. It was night so no chance of getting into the show rooms and quality of pictures is also compromised. At least, you should have a general idea of how Juru Auto-City looks like... Porsche show room It used to be a pre-facelift yellow Cayman here. Either it was sold or is kept some where to make way for this new model. This Cayenne has been here for more than 2 years... This place will be jammed with cars on weekends or public holidays. Phase 2 of Auto-City. Located at the other side of the road. This used to be an Alfa Romeo show room. Now it sells Häagen-Dazs ice creams. You can get your Brabus here! The left is a Scirocco. In case you can't see it... == Phase 3, arguably the most happening part of Auto-City ...and this is where I usually hang out!

Sometimes its fun to crawl through the baskets even though you end up with nothing... I guess this makes you appreciate your cars more. The thread serves as a medium for me to express to joy of digging through the pegs, some of which have dusts thicker than you can possibly imagine... Also something my family will never understand that's why I'm sharing with you all there.

Location: Toys 'R' Us a.k.a. toys department of Parkson, Sunway Carnival Mall, Penang Amazing last few days for me. Yellow 512M was acquired yesterday and the nice blue version is seen here. There were also a lot of light blue Bluebird 510. For once I thought they were Hot Wheels boxes... Actually, there were only 2 small boxes of HW and while the staffs were still putting price tags on the freshly unboxed cards, I decided to visit Giant underneath to check what it has and come back to TRU later... Guess what, there were only 5 Hot Wheels left! I have finally found a 2009 Heat Fleet Mad Propz but suddenly... I no longer wanted it... There were a couple of MBX... from 2010 I think? I asked the kakak: Boleh tak saya cari dari bakul-bakul ini? Kakak replied: Boleh. Kalau you rajin cari lah! Well, for once I was like a TRU staff, helping to transfer the cars from these 2 boxes to the baskets shown above. Well, there were no THunt cars though I did manage to get 2 Ford GT LMs and 1 Gallardo for Nrik. Fourth car is my 512M since it's still a 3+1 promo. Speed Machines spotted!!! More pictures have been posted on another thread... so please visit it if you want to see what is already out. MBX acquisition from Giant which are for Enyo since I don't collect MBX although I have to say... the Porsche is really nice! The Speed Machine I got... C6R with really amazing detailing. Tadah~ To be smuggled to Singapore...

Oh... for this Parkson's toy department, it is handled by TRU. Which means, this is probably the smallest TRU you will ever see~ I agree with you. Like the TTS and California... it's just a new casting/recolour with virtually no tampos and the co-mold wheels so whether it's worth paying RM14.90 is really up one's preference. I personally won't try to collect all but will buy them as long as they are available and as long as my budget permits. Regarding that, I will buy those that I think are impossible to reject like the C6R (the tampos/decals are even more impressive if you see it in the metal, believe me) The NSX and Cadillac LMP are also worthy purchases. IMO~

Awesome! I have spotted Speed Machines at a local TRU too! Acura NSX Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano Lamborghini Reventon Porsche 911 GT1 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Audi TTS Ferrari California Cadillac LMP Dodge Viper SRT10 Audi R8 Corvette C6R... the only one I bought due to budget constraints... Up-close shots IMO, the tampos/decals are really nice. Even the back card is nice... I don't think I will be opening them...
