Actually i think my storage in cardbox isn't a good idea. I own a lot of comics too. And storing them in boxes attaracts water. Even if they are in plastic the card turns yellow. I'm sure Hw cards would turn dark grey once stored very long. I think i'm going to invest in dehumidifiers like Thirsty Hippo. Last time i had those fenced type display racks that is used to display hanged goods like hot wheels.. But i dumped it away because i find no use for them. But now.....

shouldn't be much of a problem if your room is not damp & humid or is anywhere near places that have water like bathroom, etc..

My Showcase

Hey ADVedder
I saw that exact same showcase on the internet as well
So i decided to try and make my own
And this is what i managed to come up with

It may not look like much but this sucker can house 90 cars
It was a real pain in the neck tryin to get the measurements rite and mesh the grid together.
The outter frame was easy
Just the inside.......damn......

A reminder to anyone who wants to attempt doin this
Dont use cardboard
If you can find plastic i suggest you go with that
And if you find sheets of plastic let me know
I want some too =)

i cant remember exactly how much
if im not mistaken the thin cardboard was 1.50 ringgas per sheet
i used 2 of those
for the backin i used a thick piece of cardboard
that was 4.50 ringgas
only needed 1 pcs
the wood i think was around 15-20 ringgas

so all up was approximately 25 ringgas
will find out the actual figures and update you later

Aquarium "Showcase"

Why would you want to have fish or turtles in your aquarium when you can have CARS!

Celebrated my nephews 1st birthday
I was instructed to decorate the house with colourful toddler toys (eg, winnie the pooh type toys)
I didnt have any....
All i had was my hotwheels and few action figures
And there was no way i was goin to display my cars out in the open for little kids to touch
NO WAY! NO TOUCHIE!!!
so i emptied out the aquarium and did this
