Rayz-HWC 0 Posted June 2, 2009 hmmmm Ampang C4 eh...yes use to have no insider when it was new, then ltr after 6 months went back find out - already passed 4 ex-insider plus the 5th who told me that, so sort of gave up lor on that place....until one day, met a fellow collector (not on the boards, he's pretty ripe 'age') and he told me - Ampang got lots of 'uncle' collectors one - uncle who offers RMXXX for THs - Why? Cos they don't bother to hunt, but rather pay... Think I've been to this store like x4 times ever since it open. Every single time - only x15-20 cars hanging storewide ...kudos and Hi-5 to you on the Score!!! Guess the 'insider' have to eat 'air' that day NO KFC for him hahaha, cos no side-income LOL...and the guy got the cheek to hide the box there! But it's unusually odd right guys, insiders are never this smart to leave the case around...hmmm makes me re-consider about the whole incident ...more surprise is...at least most insiders would have taken the Rubber to their lockers, but this one...he could be a noob insider hehe. Put what he found into box, hide it, went off calling his 'contacts'... ...then again, surely all his contacts are pissed! Even himself...cos he ain't wanna clear the empty box away either HAAHAHA... geronimo 888 0 Posted June 2, 2009 Dear Bro Kuku, Congrates man. I just wanna share with you guys my experaince in Malacca. So far i been hunting very hard since last February. I only managed to get few 08 t-hunt. but for 09 t-hunt cars one managed to score less tahn 5 cars . it been wasting of time, energy & petrol. most of the time when i arrieve at the stores i can get fresh stock but minus the t-hunt. i know there are insider in Jusco,Tesco & C4 . there people who willing to pay RM XXX for each cars. This one of the reason i wanna give up every thing at the begaining. so i desided there is no more fun of having "Treasure Hunt" in our collections. undercoverbrother 0 Posted June 3, 2009 Hi geronimo, sorry to hear that.. not really just malacca of course other areas too are the same. All we need is to figure out stores that certified free from 'green filters' and focus on those places, and you don't really need to give up on those seemingly insider places cause sometime maybe it's just we're mistaken bout the place (like alot collectors here does) and sometime even if it is we could still 'beat' them, you can ask many boardies here with their 'success stories' hehe.. As for malacca i've been there last year melancong and actually scored Super Chrysler at the big Giant there, tried other stores as well and yeah the Jusco akak there are aware of the hunts hehe. If i'm not mistaken a friend of a boardie here too scored Super Funny Car hanging in Cold Storage. So yeah malacca can still hunt i guess, but do have better pointers (like stay updated with this forum for wave sightings and stuff) before you went huntin', at least even no greens you won't be sick of seeing same stuff over and over again. Anyway no worries t-hunt is just part of hw line, don't mean anything if you don't catch up with it.. enjoy collecting whatever ur into! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
