borrow some..hehe

haha!! no...........la, this is my die-cast collection about 4 to 10 years ago. Those years where price of die-cast are relatively cheap and affordable but the price escalated rapidly over the years untill now. I have reached the point where collection of 1/18 scales has stopped as the cost of owning this 1/18 replicas will burns a very big holes in my wallet. Still i'm treasure my 18 scales collection and i would like to share my collections here.

haha!! you really has very good quality judgement, yes..normally the bigger scales has the advantage of colour appeal although the smaller scales share the same colour.

Just some small collection here but more cars will upload here! thanks for the comment...kurz

but seriously danielh, diecasts are getting more and more pricey
when i was small, a 1/36 pull back action will cost RM 4.90 only

now ?
RM 17.90 (maisto)

and when i started 1/18, it will only RM 89.90..now ?

yes, i'm agreed with you. I remember i've started my 1/18 those years was RM 49.90 (maisto). Those days where raw materials and metal was cheap to source and easily available for the die cast manufacturers to produce.

1/18 Scales File No.2: Motormax 2003 Honda Accord 2003

This Honda Accord 2003 Grey Silver Coupe caught my attention on display in TRU. Bought this in 2004 for thr price at RM49.90 only. They were a lot on the shelf. These models comes in yellow and silver grey but this grey silver colour are better.

Nothing much on the modding as the car itself are nice enough already. I've just add some red stripe sticker on the both sides of this Accord.

thanks kurz!!!!!!! yes, agreed with you but this honda accord coupe was made to cater US and europe market. IMO, the rear side doesn't look like japanese design.

Izzit carpeted?

nope, it's rough plastic surface and the colour of the floor is as same as the car seat. This normal 1/18 scales by hotwheel doesn't come with detail carpet floor finish.

Really nice Corvette, somehow Hot Wheels' larger scale die cast hasn't won me over, though I only collect 1/64s.

Agree, infact hotwheel scale 18 few years ago was not in the same league as Autoartmodels, Kyosho, CMC or Minichamps as hotwheel main aim in making scale die cast models affordable. Thats why you can see some low quality finished here. But lately they are catching up with introduction of ELITE models.
I bought this corvette because it was on sale, with that price it's hard to resist for a collector like me.

Another 1/18 die cast model although not really into porsche collection. But at RM40.00 during warehouse sale, this yellow porsch can't resist to leave it. This production comes in 2 colour, silver and yellow.

Enjoy..........

My only Acura Intrega RSX from Muscle Machine. Bought it from Ebay few years ago when it was first released. Although it's 1/18 scales, it was slightly bigger than Autoart Honda Intregra 1/18 scales.
Anyway this orange colour are striking in colour, well compacted engine detail and quite nice interior too.

enjoy...
