BSc is Bachelor of Science (the degree course I did comes 'with honours'). The 'First' is the classification of the degree. Like exam results they are graded. The better you score, the better your degree classification. They start at the top with a First, then in descending order, 2.1, 2.2 and a 2.3. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Which basically means I'm now qualified to count bricks or measure walls etc on a construction site and then argue with the sub-contracator about how much he wants to charge The maths sounds interesting, enjoyed that at school.
