You know, I can't remember all that much about it, except, the entrance, which is through that giant glass pyramid, and seeing both the Mona Lisa, which is tiny, and Leonardo's Cartoon, which is also very small and is kept inside a small circular curtained section, a bit like a round booth, under special dim lighting (well, it was when we went) IMOM isn't much of an art or culture lover, so he kept wanting to whizz round, whereas I wanted to take my time. Oh and we saw the Venus de Milo as well *am thinking back hard now lol

Aaah, oh dear. Somewhere nice to stay would be a big plus. The hotel was nice, perhaps not so nice as the site looks, and it's about 20 mins outside of Paris, but at least they had a break (am trying not to be jealous) They found food incredibly expensive, but then our exchange rate is so bad. I think they managed lots of gallery visits, including going twice to The Louvre. We haven't been to Paris since the girls were very small.

Aaaw. OK I guess thanks, am fairly worn out, having people around constantly, living in chaos, and humping stuff from room to room to room, that's been pretty tiring. Am looking forward to getting back in to our own bed tonight - need to sort out the room first mind you. ED has been telling me where they stayed in Paris http://www.mamashelter.com/sleep - needless to say they're both now absolutely stoney broke ... which isn't sounding good for the money they owe us

Thanks for the treat Mindy! Good Morning, it's a bank holiday weekend in the UK, and typical bank holiday weather (cold and wet!) I saw it was Memorial Weekend in the States too, does that mean no work today? Kijo I was still sleeping at half five - not back in our own bedroom yet, hope to sort that all out today. We had so much we meant to do over this weekend, but as usual it's mostly left for today ... got sidetracked watching England play football yesterday, boy they were bad - they'd better look to their laurels for the world cup (first match is against the USA)

Sorry Bee. It's a breakfast to set us up for the day, missing out on lunch. We have to go out and do a big food shop later - oh deep joy! Just logged in to FB and someone on my friend list (a PS player) has this as their status 'I sometimes wish my school would burst into song, like in High School Musical' rofl - can you imagine it?
