Good Morning, Brr it's cold and wet here - what a complete change from last week, you can hardly believe it. Lovely news BG, a little boy - hope all's well. You're very wise to step back a little, it can be overwhelming for a new mother to be inundated with excited visitors. I'm struggling to get any time on line, OMG our house is in total chaos - you'd think that in the third week things would be tidier, but no. I had to move all of our stuff out of our bedroom yesterday, including the contents of 4 fitted wardrobes! I'm absolutely done in - what a load of tat we've been keeping!!! Slept in our guest room last night, well, I say slept - on and off. I feel like a bit of limp rag today, lol. IMOM has a one to one with his new boss, as he's done his six month probationary period. Hopefully everything will be ok, he doesn't see why not, but fingers crossed. ED and her partner are off to Paris until Sunday evening - hopefully it might be a bit warmer than here. We also had a mad panic yesterday as she'd left her phone at home and desperately needed it - mine was the only number she knew by heart and it took me for ever trying to get hold of her B/F to get him to take it in to work with him so she could collect it. Hope everyone else is ok and we all catch up soon.

Aaaww shame. I've done some more chores outside, which has made me feel virtuous, but I shouldn't have - have pulled my weak shoulder again, ouch!

Thanks Kijo. Just come in from doing some major tidying up in the garden - it's boiling hot out there, so had to concede defeat and come in. Am desperate for a shower, but obviously it's not convenient with the decorators around *sigh*

Poor Pookie - although to be fair, you've got a lot on your plate Mindy! Beautiful day here again, might be the last for a while I fear. Mind you, sleeping with the windows open we were awoken just after 4am by a very, very vocal and noisy Blackbird, who was singing his/her heart out! Have a croaky throat and itchy eyes today - hayfever's struck! The decorators are still here, making one heck of a mess rubbing paintwork down and raking out cracks - loads of the doors are taped up to try and keep the dust out of other rooms, not sure if it's working but it's very restrictive.

Time to cook, see you guys x

Thanks Bee. I've done a big load of washing up, spoken with the decorators, cleaned light fittings and been outside to do a few chores out there - it's absolutely BAKING HOT!

The Decorators are here Bee, and one of them just said all sorts of horrible stuff is coming our way! Am listening to the explanation of the cuts in public spending...

Don't tell me that was summer already? lol. Mr Z was late for work today - down on the station platform for 05.40 - train came at 06.10 - no fun is it? He has Friday off though - so I wanted it to be nice for then too! Glad you really enjoyed the party - you deserve some serious good times
