  1. Had a good day tday at Matlock, met up with Andy, Mack, Helen and luke and andys m8 off Bandit forum. Weather was great and Matlock was absolutly crammed with bikers, tourists. Tastey fish and chips, then a pint in one of the pubs, then bumped into Caroline Linda and Mat. Gud to see you all guys and although knackered had a great ride home, will defo sleep well tnight
  2. Me, andy, and maybe mack and possibly dave will be there around 1
  3. Yeh i think dk and two wheel spares are one and the same but delkevic are a differnt company so theres a gud chance you might be able to source the zorst you want if the deal falls through with dk Anyways theres still a gud chance your zorst will turn up early next week, post through british mail, even special delivery aint what it use to be.
  4. Dont think dk own delkevic, they just run the franchise, although they do seem to be based in swift house, the same building as dk.
  5. Always had good service from dk, saying that last time i was there there was a lot less bikes on the floor and they lost the suzuki shop they had there, now i heard from a few peeps that dk is struggling a bit, read into that what you may but i hope u paid via paypal.
  6. Very nice bike m8, gud luck with the sale,

    HELLO

Welcome to the forum luke, welcome
  8. Dont look to bad at all, low milage and a gud price at the mo, worth keepin an eye on,
  9. Defo worth a shout Stu, would ask a few questions about the low milage and the power figures hes quoted are way out unless its had the motor breathed on, standard bhp is around 97. The missfire could be nothin at all and easily fixed or it could be something more serious, you would realy need to veiw if poss and give it a going over, at least ask him some direct questions about tuning and milage.
  10. Have fun Jez, i know from bitter experience what a bitch these motors can be to iron out all the flat spots and stumbles,
  11. Nice 1 Dave, think im gonna come out of the closet too... I like Harleys... Love the sound of them on open pipes.... There, im outed now. ...
  12. Thx guys and gals, Dave, am a mechanical engineer so its not a prob but just annoying peeps sell stuff not fit for purpose. Just a sign of the times i spose. Good to have feedback on the springs m8, the old ones i think have seen better days after 14 years
  13. its no prob at all m8, if we cant help a fellow biker its time to pack it in, i gained a lot of experience over the years with the old Bandit and more than happy to pass it on.
  14. heres a vid of a Billet alloy sprocket cover i fitted tday,
  15. cant tell from the pic if its imperial or metric set tim, what does it say on the box? the figures i quoted were metric 0.15 mm = 006 thou (imperial and 0.23 mm = 009 thou (imperial) its critical that you dont get metric and imperial mixed up m8.
  16. nice 1 Tim, glad the knockings sorted go for intake valve - 0.15 mm, and exhaust valve 0.23 mm, a gud sliding fit with the feeler and do the clearences on a stone cold motor, o yeh and recheck the clearence when you have tightened the locknut, the gap can tighten up when locking up the nut. gud luck,
  17. welcome to the forum, welcome
  18. they are getting near the bottom limit but all are within 28 psi of each other so wouldnt worry about them readings. check them clearences again tim and air them on the generous side, better to have a bit of a tick than a burnt out valve, paying particular attention to that number 1 cylinder that is blowing the cap off, and to be honest i aint seen a Bandit, pre water cooled that dont tick,
