  1. well sold the gsxr shock and been looking at different shocks on evil bay. ended up going for a hayabusa shock, the reservoir is at a completly different angle to the gsxr one so im hoping it will fit. if not ill sell it and go for a 1200 one. more pics soon when my parts come back from paint..........

Well stainless dog bones turned up today and confired my worst nightmare. shock doesnt fit as the reservoir hits the brace on the swingarm, so had to take the back end all apart again 2nite. gsxr shock on ebay and looking for a 1200 one or one with a remote reservoir. these things are sent to try us

  5. agree on the sacrilege part matey, looks nice but would rather it done with a (not so rare) bike
  6. looks good , i would ask him if he has checked they are straight, that way any problems you can quote his response .
  7. might be worth looking on evil bay as it will cost you a couple of hundred quid on wemoto.

  9. i did it on mine dick, very easy, just remember to undo the bottom allen key bolts before you loosen the top cap, plenty of people on here to give you a hand if you get stuck. oh and ps they are the seals ive fitted on mine, seem very good quality Mark.

  13. right well update time but no pics im afraid. dropping my tank , front mudguard, and side panels off to be painted 2morrow so should be back in a week or two im hoping. then i can order my speedo and she is more or less finished. still waiting for dog bones to turn up, polishers should be done with them 2morrow so hopefully get them by the end of the week. then i can tell if i can use my rear shock, otherwise might have to swap it. oh and bought this at the weekend too. told myself i wouldent start it till the bandit was finished but i couldent resist. anyone know where you can get kwak pars online (like robinsons?) Ta Mark.

  17. chain and sprocket came today so fitted it but realised im missing the retension washer for the front sprocket so ordered one from wemoto
  18. cant resist putting more pics up lol so here is a pic of my stainless clutch cable adjuster, came in the post today, good old ebay. only other thing i did today was order my 45t rear sprocket and clean up the sprocket carrier and replace the bearing. just need to pack it full of grease and put the dust seal back. waiting for me chain and sprockets to turn up really. Mark.

  20. well turns out it needs more work than i thought might have a issue regarding the rear shock and clearance with the swingarm brace, its gonna be tight hoping it will work out have to wait till my dog bones come to see for sure, might have to swap the rear shock for a standard 1200 one or get one with a remote reservoir well bit of an update time , put all my controls on the handle bars , just need to re-route my throttle cables. turned down my bar ends on the lathe as the renthals are thicker walled than the standard bars. ordered this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350432942491&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_3734wt_1139 should come this week then i can get the back wheel in. been sorting out all the wiring , still a bit more to tidy up. put me r1 chain guard on think it looks on might chop the end down a bit couple of pics how she stands at the mo. put the wheel in to see how she would look.   21. no cus its been done before so i knew it would fit. using a gsxr 750 2004 rear shock so will have to move stuff about anyways r1 chainguard turned up today,needs modding to fit and am not sure if im gonna use it yet but hey ho.
