  1. does it do it once its been on for a while? could be the fan/cooler is full of dust/fluff! give it a clean out and try again. Could also be the CPU does have enough paste on it causing it to overheat or it could just simply be knackered! What make/model is it? helps narrow down a problem as some laptops ( toshiba C series for instance ) are known for boards/screen and hard drives dieing! )
  2. shame most of them haven't been started let alone ridden!!
  3. measured last night and there was 7-8inches of snow. will have to grab a pic in a mo. Can't get to work, place is closed and i'm having to do some bits at home! Mind you, atleast i can play some music and go at my own pace
  4. the facts are good, but the comments are better
  5. Nope Manual. The semi is a bit hit and miss, resale value will be worse as less people are going to want to buy the semi-auto. The annoying thing is the semi has USD forks and a few other extras that the manual doesn't.
  6. They really are cracking bikes. My dads got one ( just traded it in for the new 2013 model and his was only a 2011 model! ) which ive ridden for a bit. Sooo damn comfy to ride! Can seriously ride for miles and miles, Good thing with them is they still feel like a sports bike when riding them compared to other tourers
  7. Nice one mate, that was a tidy FJR! My z1000 has sold now aswell hasnt it? was over at cooperb with that
  8. kappa is the cheaper version of givvi. More plasticky!
  9. Ok i'll admit. I had one on the XJ600, KTM 990 and fully kitted out VFR 800 Vtec
  10. that's one sure way of getting 6 feet under! Riding quick is one thing, but riding quick, and dangerously is something else ( notice no gloves for some of the riders? )
  11. might be hated for this but our money should be spent in our country!
  12. rofl i know what you mean. After 60 odd miles on the ducati my ears are ringing! theres one thing having a loud bike, but theres being way too loud to enjoy riding it
  13. no, my uncle recons his is.. which is why i said funny its not 200bhp after all nice to see a print out of one with smooth power
  14. nice increase. Can't beat a smoother bike after a bit of fiddling on a dyno. Funny though, its not 200bhp after all
  15. jumpers will replace the metal jumpers that are currently fitted to the speakers, Spade end like the ones in my pic, then banana plugs that i linked to on ebay to make the cables up
  16. Im still waiting to get my HDMI 1.4b cables so i can get the Wii, Xbox, PC, MKV plugged in lol. All i can say is you can't beat a seperate system Yeah if your using the plates for jumping there absolutely shit, but with a proper jumper cable made up with solid connections, its as good as bi-wire.
  17. chrome ^^, but tehre all much of a much when ya running a x6 CPU, 8GB DDR3 and SSD's lol
  18. Ive used the other ones, but found they were a bastard to keep the cable in ( well when using 4mm it can be a push as it is! ) so i tend to go for screw fitment or solder them in. Didn't want to come across arsey lol. I tend to make up audio cables for the school as well as myself and have used both jumpers and bi-wire but for the gain and price, it can work out better with jumpers The gold plugs are what i did use, and i have plenty of the thinner types ( just showing the 3 main types ) the jumpers are what i use at the moment on my center and front speakers, and a quick snap of the back of my amp with the silver/gold voso plugs Banana plugs & pin plugs Jumper cables and what im currently using Oh the gold plug on the right is my sub cable i made up using standard satellite cable which has been tested against other cables ( one being a monster cable ) with the same if not better performance
  19. i wouldn't go for them ones personally. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOSO-8-X-Gold-Plated-Screw-Banana-Plug-Connector-4mm-Speaker-Wire-Cable-H8-/200795413525?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Audio_Cable_Terminations&hash=item2ec056dc15 these ones i find better than the other ones, as there is 2 screws that pinch the cable in the plug stopping it from coming loose. I have ran bi-wire as well as jumpers and tbf, haven't noticed any difference between the two, But if you can and want to run twin cables then go for it
  20. They are about £25 for a set of 4 ( enough for the 2 speakers ) makes the sound more clearer and defined The other option ( not noticed any improvement ) is to run 2 wires in a set of banana plugs from the amp to 2 sets of banana plugs in the speakers, so from 2 plugs at amp side to 4 plugs at speaker side. Oh and as long as the cable is oxygen free you shouldn't need to spend the earth for overly priced cables. I would offer to make you some cables up using some 2.5mm cable ( about 450 strand OFC ) but i've ran out of banana plugs
  21. Get yourself some gotham jumper cables and do away with the brass bridging plates that come with the speakers, or bi-wire them with 2 runs of cable ( ive got mine setup with jumper cables, 4mm speaker cables and banana plugs all round )
