  1. Well the flu jab is only last years flu! one reason why i will never have a flu jab.
  2. No secret the GSX14 would be my choice but the XJR is a great bike. Got a few mates with them. Out here the ZRX, CB13 and GSX14 have all been dropped but the XJR is the only big jap retro naked on sale (other than the piss poor new CB1100) A lot of the XJR seem's easier to directly trace back to the FJ range where as the GSX was a solo stand alone motor. In some instances this is in the XJR's favour. Only thing I wasnt over impressed with was the XJR Ohlins, pretty sure Yam had a major share in Ohlins at the time and could put their stickers and gold paint on anything they fancied. The stock XJR Ohlins are not the top end aftermarket stuff folk drool over. Nice bike, great choice.... When ya 8 stone, it doesnt matter what shocks are fitted. There all too damn stiff lol Works in my favour though
  3. Should be a nice noise with the carbon cans on! But then big bore cans would sound good as well My carbon ones are a big slash cut but standard bore ( Still fecking loud ) but are 300mm long, big bore standard length are 450mm long so should sound the same its just a case of if these look too short or not cause the xjr is a rather long bike lol
  4. Slight change of plan, got some link pipes on order so will have a look and see what these are like on the xjr, if im not happy then they will still be for sale! but yes easy to change from slip on to 3 bolt with an adapter
  5. hehe The other choice was the GSX1400 but the insurance was a lot more, only cost £9 to change insurance over from the ducati to this!
  6. Shall do Trying to make my mind up.. Do i put my carbon cans on and buy some link pipes, or do i get a new set of cans with link pipes that might suit the bike a bit more? I guess if i sell the cans before i get bike/link pipes then some standard length stainless big bore cans will do!
  7. would love the MT-01 but can't get one for less than what they were new!! XJR 1300 =] picking it up tomorrow
  8. SHAD SH-37 top box with 2 keys, no base plate but are easy to get hold of. Was fitted to a KTM. Few light scuffs on top, few scratches on the bottom but hey, thats hidden once fitted 37L top box £45 posted? ovno!! *NOW SOLD*
  9. nope, my dads just picked up the 2013 model, lovely bike!!

Standard 52mm inlet ( 2" ) Light marks where strap has been. Incredible sound, look awesome. 11. Bikes going Wednesday. Change of lifestyle, change of plan, need a mile muncher ( and riding this in 1st gear and playing with the clutch like theres no tomorrow is f****ng annoying! )
  12. one thing with Australia... They ever have lovely weather or extremely bad!! If its not the torrential rain, its hail stones the size of tennis balls! Hope everyone is OK down under. Any serious water damage to your place Tony?
  13. Im the same, everything has to be a set way! i'm always getting told i'm OCD with cleaning my bike as well rofl. I would love to say im not superstitious but i wont ride a bike with stock cans as i feel everyone is out to hit me
  14. Rear seat cowl for Z750/Z1000 03-06 also fits the ZX6-R with the same tail peice as the z1000 ( 03-04 ) Red in colour but not quite the same as the Kawasaki passion red. £20 posted, will get a picture if requested.
  15. need to use tapsafe or some sort of water dechlorinator. Letting it sit doesn't get rid of chlorine ( They add more these days than they used to!! )
  16. That there is the same reason i dont drink ( bottle every now and again ) or smoke. Too easy to get hooked, and way too easy to damage yourself without realising. Hope everything goes well with the docs Think of the positive side of it! more money to spend on the bike
  17. Chad, dont buy anything else.. its overstocked as it is. A single pleco needs a lot more than 30L even at 3", plus plenty of driftwood/bogwood ( they need wood to help digest food ) Betta needs a 30L tank on its own. betta, shrimp is fine but the pleco and mollies etc are seriously overstocking it. The ammount you have in there will need a 10-15% water change every other day to keep on top of the water quality, not to mention the filter maintenance. Looks good besides all that
  18. Pair of custom made link pipes for the Z1000 years 2003 to 2006. I believe these are slightly shorter than most Z1000 link pipes, alter the power delivery and noticed slight difference in sound ( more raspy ) than when using other link pipes like viper, mivv etc. Light scratches from use and cleaning, but will give them a once over with polish. Gives the exhausts a more agressive look. They also have 2 spring hooks on each link pipe Exhausts not included, just the link pipes, pic of bike for demonstration only! £50 inc postage
  19. so the screen itself lights up absolutely fine? ( more details needed to narrow it down! ) Is there any clicking noises from the hard drive? a good sign that its on its way out or is buggered. Can throw plenty of things out there but full details of what it is and isn't doing, what is working etc help a lot
  20. you got a monitor spare you can plug in? could be the backlight is on its way out which is why it will sometimes work, other times not. Hard to tell without having it physically in front of you
