Shouldn't worry there mate, gas ovens are really very simple and don't generally break down, perhaps only the spark ignition but then at least you can always light it with a match -

wont be swapping my 6 year old Arai anytime soon it's never been dropped etc and is inperfect nick my 6 year old Arai is staying as well -
