If I still had a few of the cars I've owned in the past.......the best was a Metallic Gold Mark 2 Jag - sold it for £340 because I was only 20 when I had it and couldn't afford to run it, my insurance was £700 and that was in 1973!!! at one time they were making £30,000 and even now would probably be £10-£15,000, it was totally mint

Great photos Alan and your correct, we don't apprecaite what we have around enough mate,always seem too busy to actually stop, look around and take it all in And Jezza - what sort of ghost town do you work in mate

There are so many factors that can affect wind noise in a lid, we all have different size/shape heads, different hair etc so basically I think a lot of it is luck if you end up with a quiet lid, but you should definitely wear earplugs mate, you might think it's okay without but you will be damaging your ears beyond repair if you repeatedly ride without them

This seems to be getting but anyway.......... I like different experiences when I go for a ride, if I want a fast ride I usually go on my own, it's safer that way and no one can get upset - if I want company I'll go with my son and daugther then I usually lead with my daughter in the middle (I'm constantly looking back to make sure she's okay) with my son bringing up the rear, as he's a lot more experienced than her, I also go on larger organised rides (like the BF annual ) or with a group of mates that all did the DAS with the same instructor (who's now a mate) he leads and makes sure everyone is sensible, and if they're not they don't get invited anymore, he insists it is the responsibility of the rider in front to look out for the one behind and so on down the group, it works for us

Personally I don't think it's a good idea to smash your helmet with a sledge hammer mate - I for one certainly do not want to see a video of it - makes my eyes water just thinking about it
