My mate has got an FX650 honda which has no centre stand so he is looking at getting a paddock stand for routine maintenance. any suggestions as to which one would be best (and cheapest) or if any are not suitable . also what parts would he need for bike and would they come with stand? -
at staples my epson inks cost over £50 for a set I use a local computer shop and pay about £5 for the set of 6. -
has anyone got a triumph street triple with the same radiator cowls fitted as the link below. I tried to contact the guy on ebay link as i only live about 15 minutes from him and i wanted to pick one up. He never even bothered to reply so i bought a genuine triumph one instead. cost £80 though but i worked out that by the time i had painted the copy one it would work out about the same. -
my mrs has got some bits for the kids for christmas off amazon. stuff we couldnt get in any shops around here and when she did manage to find some of it the prices were stupid. all delivered within a few days no need to fight past people in shops - result -
all i use is avg and spybot dont know if they would do anything with a trojan though? on the plus side both free. -
nothing on clymer. just emailed david silver as they weren't showing anything on web site. dont think the fx650 was a big seller. -
mate of mine has just bought a very low mileage fx650 and i have tried to find a manual on this and it seems no one does one. been on haynes, carlsalter and the italian one mention on here. does anyone have a manual for one of these or failing that if anyone has any servicing info on it (tyre pressures, oil capacity, and general sevicing info) it would be much appreciated.

got a pair of renthal low road bars for sale they have been drilled for bandit mk1 switchgear. only fitted for about 6 months as they didnt feel right with the rearsets i fitted so i swapped for flat bars. looking for £17 inc p+p

i have a gsxr1000 k8 on my 600 bandit and i had to chop the battery tray to make it fit in. (the res at the top is a big lump) see pic of butchering needed -
i noticed that the position for your feet is odd. it does feel like you are sat on a chair. -
never thought of that good idea. -
anyone else noticed that if you type in the name of bike you are looking for in motorcycle parts and accessories it just brings up hundreds of brake pads. nightmare to flick past them to find any parts you are looking for.

sods law none on evilbay either no rush though i will just wait until one turns up and do it then. still got pc 50 engine to rebuild during the next 2 episodes of strictly come dancing and x factor. then honda 90 to strip and rebuild up til xmas when saturday tv returns to normal

i have used my camcorder on the bike there is no way i would think of putting the footage up on the internet for all to see. mind you i arent a lunatic like that guy though. -
noticed that it had some petrol in it so i have just drained it out and got about 11 litres out of it that works out at about £15. so that means i got the thing for £30 even more of a bargain than i thought.

picked this beastie up yesterday. The last owner had forgotten to top up the 2 stroke oil tank and siezed the main bearings. had recent new disc and front tyre. gave the grand total of £45 for it. just looking for an engine for it now. It did come with the remains of the engine but he had lost a few bits from it.

DVLA are crap i sent off the log book for my old van when i sold it last october next thing i know 2 parking tickets on the thing a few months later. when i ring dvla they never recieved the log book. I normaly go into the local office and they send them through internal mail just never on this one occasion. only taken 12 months and its still ongoing with manchester council (another set of cnuts but thats another story) -
my project car - ex avon and somerset police scorpio ultima cosworth 24v absolute flying machine. never had it on the road fully as i bought it from a guy who couldnt afford to run it so it had sat in his garden for a while but the couple of times i have taken it out it pushed me back into the seat. wife has a zafira and i also have my transit if we are talking favourites it would have to be one of these two rs 2000 was restored to use as my wedding car hence the silly balloons. mk1 was restored from being used as a chicken coop
