  1. has to be my honda 50 with a 70 engine in it. the thing ploughed through all weather snow, ice and rain and never missed a beat. used to carry my coal and logs home on the back of it. only thing it ever needed was almost annual welding at the back end no matter what i did the tin worm used to creep in.

  3. Chad just make sure your bike is bog standard and you wear a hi viz you will be safe then -- oh no defeats the whole idea!! lol
  4. was hoping to do this but i have to go to Beaulieu to take the caravan show apart for one of my customers. bet i get caught up behind it now!
  5. just need to get rid of those crap mirrors now and move the indicators on the front as the screen covers them a bit.
  6. its on just need some nice weather and a day without work to get out on it.
  7. postie has delivered this to me ready for fitting to bandit really should buy a triumph but this way is much cheaper.
  8. I looked at a turbo zafira thought it was going cheap £7395 very low miles and a couple of years old checked the tax on that and it was £445 makes yours seem like a bargain tax price.
  9. been to icemeler twice. my mother in law and her partner live there most of the time. he does the karaoke in the three bells bar. im not too keen on the place but she who must be obeyed says we have to go back again next year. did you walk up to the flag while you were there.
  10. I have a pair of big twin air horns on my van they run off a smallish compressor pump. I tried them on my compressor in the back of the van at 120psi and they make your ears bleed. now need to work out a way to pipe that to the front and fit a solenoid.
  11. finally got round to fitting the new cover today (taken a while as i had to repair my air tacker after it decided to give up in the middle of a job) it was a really easy job took about 10 minutes in total to do. not much point in pictures cos it looks exactly the same as it did before but without the split at the front. The new leatherette is much softer than the original. definately need a good tacker I borrowed a mates cheap electric one and it would not fire through the plastic but my decent air one made light work of it.
  12. just pulled the old seat cover of my bandit seat and will have a go later at fitting a new one made from leatherette fabric from dunelm mill. the fabric is exactly the same and cost me £6.99 for a metre off the roll. cant see there being any problems but if anyone knows different please let me know.
  13. my mate uses the roadriders gets plenty of grip and good miles out of them. I am on storms on the bandit they have good grip. only been on for about 800 miles so cant comment on lifespan.
  14. is it worth fitting a braded rear brake line? I have done the fronts which gave better feel but cant see much point in doing the rear other than for looks.
  15. thank you all. last year of being in my 30's. oh bugger!!!
  16. I cant drink. I work for myself and could get a call to a job at any time and i dont want to be to p*ssed to go. did have several effeses while i was in turkey for a fortnight a couple of weeks ago though.
