  1. ouch, and modern cars just aren't lasting my old ug 306 did 115k before clutch went
  2. but why did they surround him! he was probably shitting a brick. when if he cut them up and their trying to smash into his car then thsts over the top if it was for a genuine reason fair enough. but personally if I had like 25+ bikers trying to smash into my car I would deffinatly be trying to get out the way!-
  3. least youll never need a front tyre, saying that my mates just lost his licence from wheeling a drz lol!
  4. totally agree, think its just me being silly worrying that ill get bored as less than the ninja, but its not far off so I think its one ill go for. in that nice blue, decat, thinking Yoshi but we will see, get cdi remapped, then few cosmetics, like seat cowl, undertray, etc already bought a screen, ugly as fook, and scratched but massive touring one won it on ebay for 99p posted cant complaint be handy for maybe longer trips
  5. at the wheel the zx9r are getting from 122-132 bhp, and 69ft of torque the cb is getting from 119-127bhp and around 76ft of torque with remap and exhaust so to be fair I don't think its a big enough difference to worry about. issue with one I tested is its in Canterbury city, I found a country lane but no where I could ring its neck fully! but deffo think next bike is decided. and im happy to be going back to a Honda. just means what shall I do this winter, nothing to tinker with as cant spend money on the ninja now
  6. yup also tony looked into lower bhp, and that's all at the wheel bhp, on remap, exhaust and filters people are getting 125bhp at the wheel average. so that aint too sad. not sure what ninjas at at the 140 the books say is at the crank. may get mine dynode to see what is at the wheel,
  7. I want to test the new fz1. im not a Yamaha fan, ive always loved Hondas. saying that im not a Kawasaki fan yet I ride one so just shows ya
  8. deffinatly had some go in it thou, if it can be around 140bhp id be happy with that as my old 40k miloes ninjas probably running less than that anyway that's thing I want a light 1000 naked bike. speed triples not my cuppa, sound great thou, leaves z1000 or fz1 really cant insure superduke
  9. what I will do is if I make stickers for anyone or work I will put hutchs forum ones on the edges to save wasting the vinyl so they work out free within reason and means the money can go to the forum. but I would be able to make custom colour ones then as the price plus cost of extra vinyl which for solid colours is like £1.49, metallic is under a fiver. its my flourecent stickers where its £11 lol
  10. boss's dad has one after his accident in a car I have a suction mount on bike with a camera, I have it on if were out playing but if rididng home I sometimes leave it filiming as you never know
  11. I think so mate but looks like its got to wait for the spring. and plan is to paint it Porsche reviera blue, and with black bits. think that colour would look mint! didn't do it on ninja as its fully faired but ona naked bike its all good
  12. nooo mate nothing wrong with thundercats, cracking bikes, I meant remove the catalatic converter on the cb. that's the ugle thing. bit box under the bike!
  13. I said cat aka catalytic converter? you said thundercat, and I said wally? not much to understand, I blame your northern accents :P
  14. you talking about my cat and sounds like a lot of faff m8not really yohi do a nice can with decat for that bike! and then the cdi you pay the mkan he plugs it in a dynos it till he gets a good result!thundercat wally
  15. don't want a bigger heavy bike mate ;)just not for me, I do like them thou! local one with underslung exhaust, sounds insane! I loved the cb! but was lacking the top end thrill. but only just I know a dyno tester who is a bike tuner specialist, he will tweat your stock cdi to become better than a power commander so probably the best bet after exhaust and filters etc. think decat would be best took. those cats are ugly!you talking about my cat and sounds like a lot of faff m8 not really yohi do a nice can with decat for that bike! and then the cdi you pay the mkan he plugs it in a dynos it till he gets a good result!

  17. they are mate, very short, and lack of panels. quite wide old lump thou, but its size is reflected in way it rides, so nippy, and flickable like a naked 600. yet had a 1000cc lump in it.
  18. top revs there wasn't so much of a thrill as the ninja!Course it hasn't you turnip, that's why it's the bike it is! A decent can will most likely give it a bit more zip, but it's going to remain a CB1000 no matter what. If you want upright riding position and big horses, Aprilia Tuono all day long. Mad as a box of frogs. well ninja new says 143bhp being its age its probably 135 at most. the cb is rated at 128 so its not far out, its not like the old cb's its got a detuned firebalde lumps its just tuning it back up again
  19. ahh, I noticed it yesterday or day before I think but forgot to say.
  20. top revs there wasn't so much of a thrill as the ninja!
