I finally got my setup back in the car a few weeks ago. I've uprated the fronts with fli components, the rears are factory for now. The sub is a 400w maystar LA410, a bit old but it seems to be getting better with age The amp is a 350w kenwood jobbie bridged. All in a custom sealed sub box made by yours truly. I know its not all top o the range gear like yours Matt but it makes the Lupo shake. The boot was pretty much useless anyway as it's so small so decided to utilise it in a different way

Hi Rich, I used a firm called Midland Product Finishing Ltd on Heathfield way, just off Gladstone rd to do a pair of GS750 wheels a few years ago. I had them done in bright yellow and the job was stunning! The only thing I'd say is if there is anything you don't want coating to mask it yourself. They charged me £75 for the pair including blasting

A mk1 bandit swingarm will fit a '98 GSXR 1100 without modification?

As in the title, 1200 Bandit std handlebars and bar ends. The bar ends have a few marks on but they're totally useable. Nearly free to a good home, just pay the postman.

Hi Mate, I have the standard wheels on at the moment but they are the same dimensions 15 x 7j and they have 195/50/15's on.

I've been bought some Porsche Teledials for my Lupo GTI. Now, they are 15 x 7j and I'm thinking of putting 165/50/15 tyres on them because I really like a little bit of stretch. Euro stylee What is your professional opinion on stretching tyres? I've known people put stupidly stretched tyres on their cars and report no problems, I just wanted to ask for your thoughts... Or anyone else in the know. Thanks for your time

Don't use T-cut. Use something like Auto glym super resin polish. T-cut will marr your paintwork and need polishing after anyway. AG Super polish is full of micro abrasives that break down whilst you are using it.

I have central locking I have one as above, vw's use iso plugs anyways. K-line is the way forward. The loop is orange tho, and I was so frustrated I missed it! Thanks so much for all your help chaps, it's appreciated

Still no worky my friend. I have a thought, there is the std gamma tape(?) player with a single CD underneath. The cd has the blue/yellow/green plug which controls feeds/recieves all the req'd info and there is an additional plug with a grey/blue and a brown wire. This small plug has no power to it whether ign. is on or not, I'm gonna plug all the std audio back in apart from this plug and see what and when it recieves.

Morning all, basically I've tried to fit a new stereo in my lupo today. I've swapped the red and yellow wires round so it turns on and off with the ignition. Everything on the head unit works fine but the remote central locking on the car doesn't work anymore? (It works again when I reconnect the original stereo) It's a '51 plate VW Lupo GTI. Please help, I'm pulling my hair out!
