Hi mate, the valve won't be part of the head it'll be way too soft. We make cylinder heads out of cast iron and still put seats in. Your valve seat may need refacing, when you are lapping the valve and seat, do you have a uniform coating of paste on said valve and seat or are there gaps?

Well done mate. When I got my new job last year I felt great, its with the same firm but its days and a step up the ladder. One of the hardest things was getting used to a regular day after 16 years on 3 shifts, oh yeah and not getting dirty or hurting myself everyday. Stoked for ya pal

Don't think that all new parts are actually new or even fit for purpose. My mechanic bought some bits (funnily enough wishbones for a ford) and they turned out to be shagged when he bought them. It took him ages and a threat of action to have them replaced! It sounds a lot of hassle for a cheap part but he is south african and loves a fight

Good luck mate. When I took the bandit for an MOT last year the guy gave me an advisory on my noisy exhaust. Yet his Hardly had open drag pipes on!

I know all the stigma surrounding buying a second hand helmet but I can 100% guarantee that this helmet has been well looked after and is in perfect A1 condition. I've had it just about 15 months and in that time I've probably worn it 10-12 times, I have an arai condor that I wear mostly. It has never knocked or dropped, after use it's always cleaned with wet wipes and has been cleaned inside. If it's not on my head it's in a motrax fleece lined helmet bag, even the missus isn't allowed to touch it! The reason I'm selling is A) I'm totally skint and B) When I wear it I'm scared of it getting damaged and want it to be enjoyed. Its a size medium, a very generous med I'd say. I'll get some pics up later if there is any interest (my avatar is the helmet) or you can PM me your email and I'll send you a load.... I know there are a few double entendres in there so enjoy ps.
