  1. A few folk have had that issue. Im borderline, top of leg just fits under the tank, not an issue, I got used to it. Dont give it a 2nd thought now. Common "fix" is to lower the pegs with something like a Buell peg conversion, but loseing ground clearance with lower pegs is a big "no-no" for me.
  2. Aussie's arent real happy. Bloody sports mad out here and they didnt do real well... For the last two weeks I have put my Aussie Passport away and dug out my UK one....... Didnt "We" do well....
  3. It makes me laugh watching all the drama's with the riders on Moto-GP's "Premier Class" of Racing. They need to be paid a fraction of what they do, sleep in the backs of van's, have day jobs and race at the IOM-TT, NW200, Ulster GP etc for a bit of a reality check. Really pleased for Guy Martin, He's had some horrendous "off's" and struggled on. Glad he's come good on the podium.
  4. Guy Martin is a man of great taste. He has a Martek framed GSXR turbo engined streetfighter...
  5. Would be interesting to see a VIN number. I'd guess that they were 2009 / 2010 built as they were on sale very early in 2010. Maybe Suzuki have got fed up with seeing them sat in their warehouse, although at that price they may be there a while. I like the Blue / White colours, but what put me off is just like the later Gen1 Hayabusa's they didnt use all paint, they used a single coloured panel with a thick cheap looking sticker to get the 2nd colour. Really doesnt look like a quality product.
  6. I want one of those bubble windows to put in the fence for the dog to use. Brilliant!
  7. .... so not everyone carries a Tesco carrier bag and a couple of big elastic bands under their seat ?
  8. First job 7.30am. Civil / roadwork job for a few days. Just had a message from a Mate in Germany asking if I want to import custom / streetfighter headlights / Bellypans / tail units etc etc.
  9. Holy F@CK!! Thats a cruel thing to do to a Bandit....
  10. Bloody Hell, Thats nice..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GS1000r-gsxr-r1-r6-nsr-rs-tz-tzr-vintage-gp-cafe-racer-/160858113996?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item2573e407cc
  11. Not enjoyed work for a while and its getting worse. A whole list of reasons but it got to the stage where I was really unhappy and dreaded going in each day. So, spur of the momment, today..... I QUIT !!! ..... ...and walked off site. No big deal to many of you, but Im a creature of habbit, only had 4 jobs in my life, one was 21 years !! Just been one the phone to the tax office, now have an ABN number and im self employed. Tomorrow is a new day.
  12. Nice bloke, old VF1000R honda, mature but quick experienced rider. Latest news was he's stable but his hip is smashed to sh#t and he's going into surgery.
  13. Middle of winter here. Our dry season. A little cool but thats a good thing if your wearing leathers. I was supposed to be going South, a "spirited ride" with a regular group. I wanted a lazy day so never went. One of the regular rides who went hit a cattle truck, real hard it seems. Air ambulanced away. Im waiting for news.
  14. Went for a play up in the mountains. Breakfast at one of the little Cafe's.

  18. Sorry to hear that. I've been there a couple of times, not so bad for me I know, no kids. If the worst case happens, wait for the dust to settle, and plan your new life. I've been in tears and thought my world was ending, but long term its new doors opening to something better. Either way, Best of luck with it Mate.
  19. Been working down the Gold Coast for a few days. 12 hour days and a 65 mile drive each way, 6 days a week. Dont think my job will last long, so im banking every penny whilst I can !
  20. Cheap chinese rip off of the KOSO type. Im looking at clocks, someone mentioned these on another forum, general opinion was to keep well away. Would be interesting to hear from anyone who's actualy used them though? I remember my Dad saying the same thing about Japanese Car's and motorbikes...
  21. Finish just in time too. Jon and Trin moved to Germany a few days back.
