  1. I wish I knew of something there. Actually, I wish God would send enough people to NY to start a Spirit Filled Prophetic assembly.
  2. This reminds me of a prophetic word that God gave me that is sooooooooooo good: Oh Church…. I see your hearts crying out for my presence. I feel your desire to be in the fullness of me. Breakthrough…breakthrough….breakthrough the barrier. Break through the walls. I have already provided you ….. Worship me, church. For I inhabit the praises of my people. Everything you need can be found at my feet. Come and worship. You will be full, for I will fill you with my presence. In my presence there is fullness of joy. Worship me. Let me be your God and you will be my people. Be my people and I will provide my covenant blessings for you. Know what it is to serve God. Learn what it is to worship. Worship me with all your heart and your soul and your mind, and I will provide you with all fullness of joy. You will not lack. You will not be empty. I declare it to you this day. My promises are from forever to forever. Turn to me and I will give you rest. I will give you comfort. I will be your joy and your salvation. I am your rock. Do not fear when you are weak for I AM your tower of strength. Don’t fear when you don’t have enough because I am your provider. Don’t fear what man may do to you BECAUSE I REIGN! No man may snatch you out of my hand. My arm is not too short to bring salvation. I will be your salvation. I will be your everything in times of trouble. I AM! I AM! I AM! You cannot be in my presence and walk away empty. You cannot sit at the feet of God and not receive. Worship me! For everything you need is here at my feet. These are my promises to you. WORSHIP ME.
  3. Amen! I agree with you! Don't stop praying! Like the unjust judge scripture, keep asking! You have not because you ask not. I figure if I have not because I ask not, I am going to KEEP ON ASKING until there is no 'NOT' left in my life.
  4. Stop drinking caffeine after first thing in the morning. If you are a caffeine drinker, just drink a TINY bit for a few weeks to ward off migraines but so as not to affect your sleep. TRUST ME. I have had the same problems. Do NOT drink caffeine after 10 am. If you get up late and absolutely need a little caffeine, don't drink more than a 1/4 cup. If you do not drink the least amount of caffeine as possible you get back on a normal sleeping pattern. Another thing, whenever I have trouble falling asleep, I pray. It never fails. I fall asleep miraculously quickly. I just pray that God helps me fall asleep and He does. Almost instantly. it's crazy because I used to have thoughts that raced at bedtime but then I started meditating on Jesus and that helped me fall asleep. Then I started praying that God would help me and that has never failed since then. Let me know if any of thsi works for you.
  5. Amen! My mom took a state board seven times. She was determined that she would pass eventually, and she did! You are probably just going to have to perservere so that someday you'll have a testimony to share for someone who really needs some encouagement. My old pastor once said about a severe trial she was going through, Do you really want a pastor who's never been through anything? Love, Mia
  6. No. familiar spirit, Hebrew word: 'owb A soothsayer who evokes the dead by the power of incantations and magical songs, in order to give answers to the future or doubtful things; Specially, it denotes a python or a soothsaying demon of which these men were believed to be possessed. 7. Happy Birthday Lurdys! Thank you so much for the blessing that you've been to this group and to me personally. I truly appreciate all that you do and have done for us. This seems like a weird birthday blessing but here goes anyway: Psalm 23 A psalm of David. 1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, [a] I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
  8. I bedlieve that prophetic words are given more often when there will be a season of waiting, to help encourage while it looks like nothing is going to happen. P.S. Thanks, Desiree. I thought I had heard that number but wasn't sure. Thanks for clarifying. =)
  9. lol Funny you should ask that question...lol He just showed me that I needed one. Then He sent me to you. lol
  10. I think I know why He gave me that knowledge. And I've never, ever asked anyone else that question.
  11. I absolutely stay as far away from it as I can. I don't need to make myself a target for any more issues than necessary. I have enough battles on my plate. i know exactly what you mean....i can get into enough trouble without looking for new ways.... randomhit10

  13. I 150% agree with your statement above. However, I don't think that randomhit10 was referring to the general case; I think she was referring to people who intentionally/willfully cross the line to explore and/or participate in the spiritual world knowing that this is disobedience - e.g., witchcraft, attempting to contact the dead, psychics, etc. What happens to them? I can tell you from personal experience that you CAN be a born again Christian and be attacked in your body and mind by demons. I believe that many illnesses are the result of demonic power and I personally have been attacked by spirits while praying for people. Think about it, when we pray for people to be healed, Christian, or no, I've heard many Christians pray and take authority over spirits of sickness and disease, even when praying for Christians. That the person has a spirit of infirmity means a spirit was infecting a Christian. I'm not saying Christians can be completely controlled/possessed by demons but people certainly do have demonic attacks in their minds and their bodies, even when Spirit filled. Thank the LORD that He left us with the authority to kick those spirits out, but there are still battles with them on the battlefield. GHOST HUNTING? I think the question is, is it a sin to go hunting for ghosts? (Which basically are spirits.) My opinion is this; God doesn't want us seeking spirits of dead people in place of him. The issue with contacting the dead in the bible was that people contacted them to get answers from them (supernatural answers) instead of waiting on and/or seeking God. Is it a good idea to go messing around in the spirit realm when we basically have no idea what we are doing? NO! My personal opinion is that it might not be a sin to ghost hunt but instead of asking people, who basically are usually only barely hitting the surface of any true knowledge of the spiritual realm, my advice is to ask God for the low down. He is the ONLY One that I would trust to answer that question because I'd be afraid for my safety mucking around in that kind of territory. Love, mia excellent answer....and i agree 100%.....but look at it this way also....why would God tell us not to involve ourselves with the spirit world (paranormal) if we were not in grave danger....maybe would could contact a deceased relative but how do you if they are really who they say they are?...the spirit world is where satan and his demonic forces hide and do their work from....by trying to make contact you open yourself up to what ever is out there....and there are some things out there who want to eat you alive....even watching this on tv can open your mind to attack....satan has had thousands of years to learn his craft and he will not miss a chance to come after you....and what can the dead tell you about your life that you would need to know that God can't tell you?....is your life with Christ worth the risk of losing it?....is your life so boring that you need this activity for excitement?....if it is then you better get ready....you will change your life beyond your wildest dreams, in a very bad way.....spend that time fellowshipping with Jesus or go donate your time to a homeless shelter....you will feel a lot better.... randomhit10 I 100% agree and want to make very clear for the record that IT IS A SIN to get advice from dead people. I also agree 100% that the law was made because it is like all of God's other laws: It is for our safety and well being. Spirits are not to be played with. Doesn't the bible say that angels know what they are messing with and they don't mess with it lightly. My comments on ghost hunting were all from the perspective of just witnessing the presence of ghosts. To me, ghost hunting is not interacting with them or doing anything other than they do on t.v. - basically, looking for evidence of the paranormal and NOT having a seance (sp?) with them.
