I have been singing put some oil in my lamp keep me burning burning burning, put some oil in my lamp today....

for a couple of days now and I was teaching my two baby grandsons to sing it today....we all need some of that good Holy Spirit oil to keep our lamps full of Light....keep us on fire for the Lord...to be ready when the BRIDEGROOM comes!!!!! amen!!!!!

Wow John this is really amazing....I took a class in book publishing last year and during one class~ the instructor saw a vision ~ when he looked out at the audience we were all covered in what he said looked like gold liquid...almost like honey...he was surprised and amused and he shared the vision with us...
Then God showed me what it was~ God showed me that the gold stuff, was like the roads in heaven, gold transuscent like glass, and just like these roads ~ we were being called out to be street evangelists but in writing and movies and scripts and radio and these words would go out into all the world....sharing what God is doing in our lives...Glorifying God, sharing Christ with the world.
I dont know if this will shed any light on your experience but what do you use your computer for, do you write or evangelize online....?

I agree with Cholette ~ Im not saying that medicine is never ok, but that talking things out with someone who is trustworthy and gifted in counseling can really be encouraging. At 13 you still have so many others in charge of what you do in your life and that in itself can really be challenging. I will be praying for wisdom for you Jasmine.

I have read this whole thread and have really enjoyed it so far! I too have learned on this site how important "feelings" are in understanding our dreams. My first time here almost two years ago, it was because even though I had been having international prophetic dreams all of my life, I was finding myself challenged with a dream that made me believe that my husbands life might be in danger. I was immediately drawn in to discussions and lessons that helped me to understand though the dream looked terrifying the end of the dream was lighthearted and so it was in real life as it manifested.
It is all a journey. I am very thankful for the ministry here.

I imagine some athletes have to charge up on high protien foods...and special diets to be at peak performance. Same for our spiritual life. We must charge up on the spirit food for peak performance.

The word of God really is spiritual food. When the disciples were worried about Jesus not eating, He said that He had food that they knew not of. "every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God"...

Alone with God, reading the word of God and talking to God always as you go about your day...filling up on this "food" will bring you to peak performance in you spiritual life....

meaning, more sensitive to hearing God, to know the leading of the Holy Spirit and this will evolve into a day when the passion for God bubbles right up out of you.....but aprsnoop~ said something that I want to say motivated me to say this. Faith~ are you ready to dive in....to actually Trust God with everything?

My son Daniel left for his 2nd tour in Afghanistan~ please remember him in your prayers and all of our troops. Also, pray for my little 4 year old grandson who is too small to understand why his dad has to leave him. God Bless these ones who are willing to die for our freedom Lord Jesus...be with them, protect them, comfort them and encourage them to trust you Father. I pray your hand over our loved ones in Jesus name. amen

Please keep my son Daniel in your prayers as well as the other troops serving in the middle east. Daniel is there now beginning his 2nd tour...and is scheduled to be home in September. he has a small son who will be 4 in July ~ and the hardest thing for Daniel right now is being away from his son. His wife left him while he was on tour the first time in Afghanistan~ and he has had custody of his son for the major part of this year. He is skyping to visit, but it is very hard on my grandson too....all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called together for His purpose....I know God has a plan...but will you pray along with me, for God's divine will in the life of Daniel and his son. I didnt think of that Dove but i will be watching the weather station as see how they explain it. we had three tornadoes in the north state, not in my city but surrounding a city north of us where my sons family lives. It is only the second time in 30 years that I have ever heard of a tornadoe being in our area....still
I know there will be a catastrophic water problem here in California, and will be in prayer. Thanks for all the input everyone, and for sharing steadygaze.
