I agree that your interpretation, Daisy, fits perfectly with her dream and will give her an example of what to watch for when the manifestation takes place.

Could someone take a look at this one? I was thinking that this is about a future behavior in the dreamer's child that's brought on by a spiritual influence. I could be way off - and, of course, the child may not be literal. The details make me think that the "thorn" isn't something physical.

The thorns in your son's side remind me of Paul's thorn in 2 Cor. 12:7 -  "...I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me..."

My thoughts are that the dream is a warning and call to prayer.  If your son does something that makes you feel the same way you did when he misbehaved in the dream, it may not be just a "child being naughty."  It may be more of a spiritual attack. Is his behavior an issue right now?

I also feel that this is a spiritual issue due to the thorns not drawing blood when you removed them.

Finally, you pulled out multiple thorns until you finally removed the branch.  I think this shows that you may have to pray repeatedly before you see results.

Thank you both for your encouragement and prayers. I am still watchful as to what this may relate to. But, I am doing my best to not be anxious about it.

You're right. I told myself that, too, as I've been thinking about the dream today. I can't help but wonder what the issue will be, though.

I do.  The part with my house in a tree especially makes me think this way. And then, the part where I saw the basement post cut like it was - it makes me think of something supportive giving way...something along those lines?

My emotions also make me wonder. For one, the only real part that had strong emotions were where I thought I was done for when the collapse began. I was fairly indifferent to everything else, and then optimistic regarding the future.

I was inside the basement of my house. Immediately, the house began collapsing on me, with the floor above threatening to crush me in the basement. I crouched to the ground, expecting this to be the end, but the collapse stopped momentarily. I was terrified at this point in the dream.

I looked to the center of the basement at the main, load-bearing post. It had a diagonal slash through it - like a clean cut with a blade - and the top half of the post was sliding downwards along the angle of the slash, which brought on the collapse.

Somehow, I had enough time to get out of my house. Next thing I know, I'm in my backyard with a few family members. I take a look at what I had just come out from: My house is actually up in the largest tree in the yard. This did not seem odd in the dream. At this point, I knew that the house was going to finish collapsing soon.

My thoughts moved toward the future. Once the house was destroyed, a crew would come and clear it all away. Even though I would have lost the house, I would have received an insurance payment to cover it - then I could build another house on that spot. This one would have some slight adjustments from the previous one - one being that I would have the space for a longer driveway that could hold two cars (my current one only fits my car).

When I've dreamed about buses, it's usually meant along the same lines as cars (something going on in my life right now, or the very near future) - except that it's something larger than my own, personal life. As in, a group of people.

This could be something prophetic for events in a small group meeting or a church service. The part with the note that's handed to you could be to show you that someone has a word for you?

I'm sure you're right - it probably does deal with past losses. I wonder, though, why you felt the way you did when you looked at the teeth? Any thoughts?

To be honest, I considered the same thing.

Do the numbers fit anywhere for something that's been lost?  As in, the loss of one thing, and then three others?

This is purely a thought, and not an interpretation...but, I recall that you work with children.  It's possible that the teeth represent children - possibly being removed from where you work?  Again, it's just a thought.

Short dream from last night:

It was night, and I was on a street on the other side of my town from where I live. There was a line of houses on one side of the street that were all old, Victorian-style houses. In real life, this area of town does not have any homes like this. All of the homes were in a bit of disrepair. They also had vines growing on them in varying degrees.

As I looked at the houses, it felt as if I was supposed to choose one of them.

I ended up choosing the house that was at the end of the line - at the far left as I was looking at them, and closest to where the street would intersect with one of the main streets of my city.

There wasn't much for feelings, but it did seem like the house that I choose was least like the other ones. The general idea was that I'd buy it, move in, and work on it.

In real life, I much prefer a Victorian-style house over the many ranch-style homes that fill my city. To me, even though they're old/old-fashioned, I'm fond of their uniqueness.

Your dream sure does seem to fit with what you do in real life.

My first impression of these dreams is that they're literal for future events. I especially feel that way about the first dream (unfortunately). I've actually had a dream where money was missing from my bank account, and it turned out to be literal once I learned that my CC information had been stolen. In your dream, your boyfriend hadn't lost any money from his account, yet, so the dream may be to show you that the loss can be prevented. If you felt led to share these dreams at this time, now may be the time to double-check for any unauthorized activity on the card.

FYI - in my experience, the money that was stolen was reimbursed.

Honey does seem like a positive thing, and I know that the references to it in the Word are positive.

When I dream about my vehicle, that usually to tell me that the dream is about something happening right now or in the very near future (usually within days for me).

I can't say what the honey represents, but your feelings about it in the dream will match how you feel in real life when the dream manifests. The honey appeared suddenly in your dream, so this should also be the case in real life. I think you'll be surprised by it - and, even though you were inconvenienced or embarrassed, try to keep in mind that this is meant to be positive.

I think she should leave if she has any more warning dreams like this - especially if they get worse.

You absolutely can tell her that this is what you would do in that situation. You told her to get help, but maybe she needs to hear that it's ok to actually leave.

Ugh...that's what I was afraid of with the daughter's dream.  :(

It was a touchy subject to even breach, so I tried to be careful with how I worded things.  Obviously, she was receiving confirmation for what she already knew to be the meaning.

I'm assuming you've both talked about it in private, so I'm not going to add anything to what's out there.


Another thought:  Maybe ask her if she's satisfied with what's been shared on those two dreams, and if she'd like the topics left open, locked or even deleted?  The subject is sensitive, and you/she may not want someone else wandering into the thread.

I don't know how to describe it, but I have a weird feeling about it all. I wonder if that's what the Alligator dream is about.

Have they both come to pass, or would it fit for one of them to be represented by the baby that was yet to be born?

For the stillborn baby: When you said in the dream, "he died because he wasn't covered with water," would it fit that one of these seems like it wasn't prayed into or lacked some kind of covering?

Is there any dream/idea/desire that you've had in you for some time that, when you finally were able to bring it into action, ended up like the stillborn baby - where you had the same feelings about it that you did the baby in the dream (embarrassed about it, and hopeful that no one noticed)?

My thoughts are that the knife is symbolic for words.

For your daughter to reconsider trying to stop the stabbing could represent her choosing not to interject her own thoughts during a conflict.

To be stabbed in the stomach could be more of the nature of the words - as in, something said that's a big blow to the emotions, leaving your feelings hurt.

I'm not sure on that one. The person wasn't like...the leader of our unit or anything, so I would say that the person wasn't you. You'd likely be the one driving the boat.
