  1. Hello, ARob17 - Teeth can represent a number of things in our dreams. The best way to know what the dream relates to is to note your feelings within the dream. Those feelings will be the same as how you feel about something in real life. Then, the dream will tell you more about that real life situation. Is there any area of your waking life where you feel the same as you did in your dream? Looking at yourself in a mirror in a dream can be about self-examination. Reflecting upon yourself or your life. Pulling your teeth out can be the removal of something. In this case, it's something that's easily removed from your life - and decaying. What's more, there's others that are ready to be pulled out as well While teeth can mean a number of things, I want to ask you if it would fit if they represented any people/relationships in your life? Friends, coworkers, family - anything like that? Are any in a "decayed" state where it would be easy for someone to leave/end the relationship?
  2. No. We all live in Wisconsin. It's likely that they're symbolic, though. When it's about my literal siblings, they're often represented by animals. They may represent siblings in Christ, though.
  3. In this dream, I was at a place (a store) that often symbolizes a place of ministry for me (usually this site). It was like I was passing through the area when the events took place. I stood outside this building and saw the sky grow very dark like a storm was coming. Employees and customers began to come out of the store to see what was going on with the weather. They looked at the sky, but they did not recognize that the threat was greater than the approaching storm that they could see now. Almost all of them went back into the store to go about their business. I remained outside to watch the storm roll in. The sky and clouds were so dark that you wouldn't be able to see anything among them - but, I was able to make out a funnel cloud in the distance. When I saw that, I went into the store. A crowd of employees and customers were surrounding the Customer Service desk at the front of the store. There was a manager-type person behind the desk speaking. I cut through the crowd and interrupted the manager to say that the threat was greater than they thought and that everyone should be directed to seek shelter within the store. When the manager gave the word to do so, the crowd did as she instructed. I went back outside. The funnel cloud approached the store, and somehow I did battle with it. I didn't defeat it, but it didn't touch the store or hurt me. Eventually, it left the area. The sky was still very dark, but there was a tiny gap/slit in the clouds that exposed the brightest blue sky behind them. I returned to the store and let the manager know that the threat had passed. Then, I wandered through the store to seek out my siblings, who apparently had been amongst the crowd that had taken shelter.
  4. Do whatever you want. I just know that it's been 3+ years and he was a teenager then. I'd like to think he may have grown up some since then.
  5. I'm not a fan of who he was, either. But, I don't think the trigger should be pulled unless he's in violation. We really need to give him the opportunity to show that he's going to follow the rules. I understand that he was banned, but does that mean he never gets a second chance?
  6. He was banned in January of 2012. So, it's been 3 1/2 years. If he's repentant and behaves, he should be allowed to stay.
  7. Hi, Exo - If you volunteered to help while there was a need, and now they have more than enough volunteers to meet the need...I would step down. If you do step down, it's up to you whether you also inform someone about how you feel left out or not. There may be a different opportunity to bring that subject up.
  8. Thank you both for helping on this. I agree that your interpretation, Daisy, fits perfectly with her dream and will give her an example of what to watch for when the manifestation takes place. And thank you, Mia, for stepping in and clarifying what it was I was trying to say to the dreamer - you said it much better. :)
  9. /t21323-thorn-in-my-side Could someone take a look at this one? I was thinking that this is about a future behavior in the dreamer's child that's brought on by a spiritual influence. I could be way off - and, of course, the child may not be literal. The details make me think that the "thorn" isn't something physical.
  10. Alrighty. Thanks for the heads-up.
  11. I think she should leave if she has any more warning dreams like this - especially if they get worse. You absolutely can tell her that this is what you would do in that situation. You told her to get help, but maybe she needs to hear that it's ok to actually leave.
  12. Ugh...that's what I was afraid of with the daughter's dream. :( It was a touchy subject to even breach, so I tried to be careful with how I worded things. Obviously, she was receiving confirmation for what she already knew to be the meaning. I'm assuming you've both talked about it in private, so I'm not going to add anything to what's out there. Another thought: Maybe ask her if she's satisfied with what's been shared on those two dreams, and if she'd like the topics left open, locked or even deleted? The subject is sensitive, and you/she may not want someone else wandering into the thread.
  13. Let's be careful on the Twins dream. I don't know how to describe it, but I have a weird feeling about it all. I wonder if that's what the Alligator dream is about.
  14. I'm not sure on that one. The person wasn't like...the leader of our unit or anything, so I would say that the person wasn't you. You'd likely be the one driving the boat.
  15. Yep. I've always felt this way compared to everyone else.
  16. I saw that one the other day, and the symbol did seem to be about a double portion. But, I knew that the feelings didn't fit, so it had to be something else. I wasn't sure what to say, so I left it alone. Of course, you handled it well. :)
  17. As soon as I read Mia's responses, I felt it might be better to move both of these dreams to the Moderation section. I do think that they both may be about the website. The Alligators dream could be a warning. How I felt about myself compared to my peers definitely fits this site. In fact, this is probably the only area of my life that stands out to where the setting and emotions would fit. For the Work Raffle dream: There literally is a woman named Lisa in my workplace; but, there's zero chance I'll see her. If I had any interaction with her, it would be through e-mail...and, honestly, I don't think it's her. In fact, when I think about how her last name was blurred in the dream, it would make sense that she's not literal. And, as I was posting the dream, the member named "WiseLisa" came to mind. We'll have to see. Another reason that I moved these: I remembered one more dream that I had last night as soon as I read Mia's responses... In this dream, I was inside the store that I used to work at when I worked in retail. Oftentimes, this place symbolizes this website. A worker came up to me, and the two of us walked over to the Health and Beauty Aids department where, in real life, she used to work. We chatted, but I was focused on something else: I was standing in front of the deodorants, and I specifically placed two different brands of deodorant back where they belonged on the shelf. One of them stood out as being old or outdated (ever heard of expired deodorant?). I had some concerns about the item, but the woman that I worked with didn't seem fazed. I think that the two items are these two dreams. If there was one that I wanted to move in a timely way (before it was too late/"expired"), it would be the one with the name Lisa in it.
  18. I was part of a military unit, although I was definitely the weakest person on the team. The group seemed to be some elite unit. There were a few scenes of combat, although we seemed to be on another mission that wasn't focused on direct combat. I'm not sure what it was. In one specific scene, I was on a boat with a few teammates travelling through alligator-infested waters. One of the guys in the group (this huge, strong guy...also a bit on the crazy side) got into the water as the boat was moving, holding on to the front of the boat with one hand. As we moved through the water, he engaged an alligator, and the two went under the water to fight. At first, the guys with me were confident that the strong guy wouldn't have a problem. However, a little time passed, and he didn't surface. I reached my arm into the water and, one-handed, pulled out a second full-sized alligator. At this, the driver of the boat said, "There's a tent" or "They've got a tent" - something like that. Basically, it told us that there was a group of alligators all collected in one spot, so the strong guy was dealing with a lot of them - not just one like we thought. We stopped the boat and backed up a bit to help him.
  19. In this dream, my name was at the top of a list at work for some kind of raffle/fundraiser. Apparently, someone could bid on me, and the highest bidder would retain my services for whatever tasks they wanted completed. The list was on the wall at work, and across from the wall were bleachers - like in a gymnasium - full of people. This was the crowd being approached on this fundraiser thing. I had to walk past the posting (and in front of all these people) as I headed to the break room. I was going to sleep in that room, and I knew that I'd be locked in (not in a bad way). I felt awkward having to walk in front of all these people. So, I just looked straight ahead as if they weren't there. Once locked in the break room, I fell asleep. When I woke up, the fundraiser was over. There were notes that had been slipped through the door, although I felt as if most (if not all) weren't for me. My brother came in and showed me a note related to the fundraiser. It said that Lisa had bid something like $500 on me, so she would be the winner. I accepted that - no other feelings about it. In the dream, I understood it to be Lisa _____ from work, but her last name was blurry...so, only "Lisa" stood out.
  20. I had to go and read it through a few times since I hadn't given the thread my full attention until now. To an onlooker, there's a lot that's not explained. Perhaps a post from you in that thread that's addressed to would-be readers explaining where you're coming from. Someone could stumble into the thread and walk away thinking that the interpretation is encouraging the divorce, etc.
  21. This is a tricky one. I usually stay away from marriage-type dreams to begin with - mostly due to being single, myself. There's ways to look at it from either angle. For why He wouldn't give those dreams? Probably because His ideal is for the marriage to not end in divorce - that there would be restoration. So, you could say that a dream that points to something otherwise would direct the dreamer's focus on the next life event rather than working to restore the relationship that they're in. As to why He would give such a dream? Because He knows the end, already. He shares the future to comfort and give hope, and if the marriage is that far gone, then such a dream may be the best medicine to someone suffering through it.
  22. I wouldn't think so - that's not something I'm feeling in real life, anyway. I have been kinda laying low up until a week or so ago when I had a different dream at the same setting (the store) where I was encouraged to participate more on the site - at least, that's what I took away from it. So, I've stepped it up a little bit.
  23. You're probably right. I was half-thinking about the dream this morning, and the thought came to mind that it could be about how I spend my free time - which makes sense since I took a break from work in the dream. I don't have a lot of free time, but I'm sorta undecided on what to do for fun when I do have some.
  24. **I'm only posting in this section because the setting of this dream has often represented this site.** In real life, I visited my former retail employer from over 10 years ago, today. I was there to make a small purchase, and while I was there two old, long-term employees recognized me. So, we had a quick chat about "back in the day." This afternoon, I dreamed that I was at my current employer doing my tasks in the lab. I had been working for what felt like quite a while, and I stepped away to take a break. I was running a test on a machine that isn't actually there in real life, which I questioned in the dream. The test was going to take a long time, so I was able to get away. I left the lab and found myself at my former retail employer. It was like the two areas were connected. The store wasn't open (it was the middle of the night), but there was a mix of employees there from either employers (past and present). A few that were from the store were actually working as cashiers. One of my factory/lab coworkers was purchasing snacks for his break, so I decided to do the same via another cashier. I entered the checkout lane and decided that I would purchase a candy bar. I looked over all the different kinds that were available, and I decided that I was going to buy whatever was the best value for my money. Most of the candy bars were priced the same, but they weren't all the same size. First off, I decided against anything that came in a small package. Out of what remained, I wavered a bit between flavor and satiety. I narrowed it down to a Hershey's chocolate bar since they can be broken into 12 pieces (in the dream, it seemed like 16). This bar, however, wasn't what I truly wanted - it just made the most sense. Then, the idea came to mind to get the same type of bar, but with almonds. That seemed like a better choice, so I searched for it, knowing that it was pretty common. However, I couldn't find any among the selection. This bothered me, and I remembered that this particular candy had been clearanced out to not be sold any longer. I went back to the plain Hershey bar, but I discovered something near it: Some brand of candy that I wasn't familiar with, but the individual bars were quite large. They struck me as a steal! I also knew, somehow, that they'd taste good. I realized that no one was buying them because the price wasn't clear to most people - but, I figured out what the price was and felt that they'd be a good choice, overall.
  25. Dreamsicle - The PM you received when you signed up was automated. That's why you can't reply to it. You also need 50 posts before you can. The site is as Dreamster said - there are fewer people active than what there used to be. The owner has been absent for a long while, so there's a lack of central leadership. The few of us Mods who still come here will interpret/comment when we can. I think only four of us are active, and real life is busy for us all; so, I'll be the first to admit that we're unable to give this site the attention we were able to in the past. If there's someone in particular that you want to PM? We may be able to answer your questions. To reiterate what Dreamster said: You can comment on anyone's dreams. Just be clear in your response when you're speaking from your own experiences/understanding vs. what you feel is revelation from the Lord. Both are fine to share. The caution from D comes from newbies showing up in the past with a "Thus Saith The Lord" tone. :)
