  1. This is one where you should be led by the Spirit in each situation. If your drinking alcohol causes others to sin (by making a judgment), then it's better that you don't in that instance. If they accept it and understand that you aren't sinning by doing so, then you're in a situation where you can drink it with others.
  2. I'm of the same opinion as D. I, personally, don't drink...but that's because I don't like the taste of alcohol (I can taste it in anything). I've never seen anything wrong with it if it doesn't impair your judgment.
  3. Good question. Some versions say that she was following behind Lot, so he wouldn't have been able to turn around and see first-hand. His two daughters were also with them, so perhaps his wife was behind him, but in front of the daughters. The assumption that another human person told him isn't perfect, either. He had just interacted with angels, so he may have been visited again, later. How he learned of the fate of his wife isn't specified, but that doesn't mean he was never told.
  4. Seeing this late in the evening. Still, praying that it went well - or is still going well!
  5. In agreement. Thank you for posting, Cholette. I'll pray.
  6. Praying for you, sister. Please keep us posted.
  7. Thank you to everyone who prayed. They are now back home, safe and sound. And thank you for praying for peace for myself while they were gone. I was suprisingly peaceful these past few weeks.
  8. Hello, all - My sister and my niece will be leaving the country tomorrow for three weeks. They're headed to Guatemala along with a coworker of my sister. Please, please pray for their safety while they are away. And...please pray for peace of mind for myself and my mother. We're natural worriers. :)
  9. Will pray! Have you tried calling it with another phone, or did you leave it set on silent?
  10. This neighbor had returned to her home! She stayed overnight at the hospital, but she may not have even had a stroke. Her son said that she simply passed out. Thank you for praying for her!
  11. Thanks, Cholette. If you met her, you'd never know she's 90. You'd think 70, maybe. She walks and speaks without problems, lives alone (although her children are nearby), cooks, cleans - you name it. My other neighbors received a call from her son this same morning. Apparently, she's doing much better, already!
  12. Please pray for my neighbor. She just turned 90 in May. This morning, she was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Another neighbor has told me that she may have had a stroke.
  13. Thanks for all you said, GreatFulServant. This line, especially, has echoed through my mind the past few days...
  14. If you haven't had a chance to read Mia's page on "People" in dreams, let me post the link for you: /t8474-common-themes-people For your first dream with the FB conversation, try taking the literal person out of the dream and look at your feelings within the dream. That should help to see what this dream relates to. So, since the dream, have you had any conversations with anyone where you were happy to hear about their interest in you/your life? While it may be a real FB connection, I don't think it is because of the detail where the Ex said that he doesn't have FB. Same thing with the 2nd dream. If you take the people out, ask yourself where in your waking life you're feeling jealousy. That's who or what your Ex represents in that dream. The Ex could represent your husband, for example, and the friend could be anything that he's paying attention to besides yourself - even an activity/interest. Again, if you recognize where the emotion is in your waking life, everything should fall into place. Then you'll know what the dream is about.
  15. Greetings - I'm not an expert on recognizing the timing in a dream (if it's even given in the dream). Most of my dreams manifest within a couple of days. My car dreams have also been about something taking place in the present - not a long time into the future. Was there any more to your dream than that? I once had a similar dream where I was in a car with an ex girlfriend. There was conversation that I couldn't remember when I woke, and not much else stood out to me other than the ex seemed different from how I remembered her - she was much better at holding conversation. The dream manifested within a couple days. I was out and about, and I ran into a friend of one of my sisters that had the same name as the ex. There was a quick chat and nothing more. That's all my dream was about. I only share it to show that the person wasn't literal and it also wasn't anything life-changing. However, the Holy Spirit showed me in that moment that this was the fulfillment of the dream. He will do the same for you. Blessings, -Mark
