Hun, let me know specifically which handbag you want, and I'll see about sending it. Seems PS is acting weird for everyone. I logged in and then tried to send gifts and the weirdest thing happened. On the other topic, I am hugging you real tight. I wish there was something more I could do. Keeping you in the light, too (that's just my way of saying, I am praying for you).

You are so very fortunate to have such a positive relation with your mother. My mother won't talk to me, she won't friend me on Facebook, and she treats me as she has always treated me, with conditions and her own expectations. When I don't live up to the way she wants me to, she ignores me. When I moved to Germany some 14 years ago and told her that I was happy here, she didn't speak to me for close to a year. It's been like that since I got married some fifteen years ago. so, there is very little dialogue between us. I don't call or email, except on birthdays or Christmas, and she doesn't make any effort to contact us at all. My in-laws, on the other hand, are the most unconditionally loving people I have ever known. When we moved back to Germany, we had to accept welfare money from the state for the first two or three months. They stepped in and helped us. Mama brought me clothes and Papa gave me money when I didn't have enough to get food on the table. They did everything for us and so when Papa retired, we did what we could to help them. The universe is such a wonderful thing, it grants people so many opportunities to return love and kindness to those who have offered it so freely. Today I look back on all the things my in-laws did for us with the utmost gratitude and graciousness. That is perhaps all that your mother wants of you, to be gracious and loving, becuase deep down in side, she probably knows that one day, you will be there to help her out. -
