I wasn't sure about the insurence thing, I know only about how it is in the US and Germany. I have had fillings redone without the anastetics, and it's a very strange feeling indeed. I just think the risks do outweigh the benefits. It's your call, though. and I know about the whole facing fears. If you want to get it behind you, go in and tell them that it's annoying you and ask them if they can do it now. Then you won't be worried and scared as the appointment date approaches. I got mine pulled the day I went in. I don't get why it is you have to get an appointment to get it done if it's causing you pain and needing to be done. Doctors never cease to baffle me though.

Good morning. I just received an email from a musician friend of mine. For the past two weeks or so, I have been helping him with the lyrics to a song he wrote, and this song was just accepted to go on a country music sampler CD that will be released in June. This is really great news and I am really excited for my friend. He said that I will get co-writer credit on the lyrics, although that is not expected. I am really excited for him, but the song is really quite good, so this is really good (and exciting) news. Just thought I'd share.

There is another factor that no one has mentioned. That is the factor of cost. Would an insurance company actually pay to have hospital anastesia for something that is considered a minor procedure? I had a tooth pulled about a year and a half ago because the tooth was extremely sensitive to hot and cold and there was no talk of putting me under for it. They numbed the area and then pulled. I was told to take pain medicine for pain as needed, and was sent home. I couldn't eat for about three hours afterwards, and when I did the dentist advised soup. The reason I bring this up is that in most hospital procedures (at least in both countries where I lived) are costly. My husband was in the hospital for one day with mono some 15 years ago, and that racked up a cost of 5,000 dollars (US). He didn't have much done, a little blood taken and a looking over by a doctor and the sum was that much. His insurence paid the bill. For something like this, I am not so sure, but it would be wise to ask.

Abby is Sven's pet and he loves her. I still get a kick out of when they belch. I burped once, and he turned around and said I sounded like Layla Jane. I agree about the prices. I have managed to help decorate Abby's room, and most of the stuff I buy for her is stuff way in the back of the furniture store. I have done a lot of improvising when I get asked to decorate her room. I very rarely buy pet cash (only when there is something free for it and then I buy the smallest amount 60 or so). I only give a little out to fulfill challenges, otherwise, ho hum. I have over 1,000,000 regular coins, and can't really buy anything. I am opposed by the fact that sofas and chairs are all for cash. With PS at least we can decorate. Is it no surprise that PS is so popular and Petville isn't?

I am a history buff, but I am also into Astronomy, which perhaps explains why I have taken to this week's theme with gusto. Now, I think I have found out the reason why it is we have a space theme this week. Did you all know that today marks the 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's trip into space. I guess I have been so caught up on the recent events in the news, that I have sort of forgotten about something really cool and historical. Of course, most of us weren't even around when this historic event happened, but if you were, how was it to find out that space was not beyond human reach? Do you think that it's coincidental that we have this particular theme during the week of Gagarin's history making flight? Let's talk about it.

I have now several lions and tigers. I even got a pair of glowing leopards (with green glow) and today I found out I won a glowing big cat from a blessing contest. I will definitely be breeding and offering offspring to folks here. Oh yes, and I finally got some random bears, so I will be breeding them as well once they are grown.

I am still around the neighborhood, but the friends who play are dropping like flies. I had as many as 79 friends, now I am down to 48. I love my pet, but I don't like the way the game is being run. The latest bit with genie gems and the pet cash is a joke. I have managed to have three wishes granted and have only won 2 pet cash. The fact they have tables for regular coins and chairs for pet cash is annoying. The floors and walls are done the same way. Zynga is going to lose players like crazy from people quitting. PS is better, but Layla Jane is getting lonely. Thankfully she now has her sister, Abby to annoy. If you're still playing, please post here and let's make sure that all the active players here in the forum are neighbors.

The new potions are out en masse in the neighborhood, and Tiddly Winks is right in the thick of things. She's up to her tentacles in green skin and googly eyes. So, the quesiton of the hour is, did your pet sneak into the lab and drink that strange looking potion? Does your pet have extra eyes, and a funny smile? Show us your pet aliens and tell us why they are dressed as they are dressed? Or are they streaking about Pets Town with 'nothing on but a smile'? There's a story there...so do tell.

According to my dentist, it's about how far into the nerve the tooth is, but that is generally for fillings. With tooth pulling, they generally always do the anastetic. What I do is close my eyes, since I hate needles too. I actually asked my dentist to not tell me when they were going to administer the anastetic because of that fear I have. Instead, they shone the light in my eyes and then did the anastetic. I didn't see a thing because I was momentarily blinded. That also meant that I did not see the needle. I never had hospital anastetics so can't answer you there. Hope that helps.

This morning, my husband and I have both been having problems getting into Facebook. I would log into PS, and then when I would try something the game would freeze up and crash. Then the whole of Facebook would stop. I am not sure what the deal is. Is anyone else having issues with Facebook this morning, or is it a random thing that is only affecting us? I spent the whole of yesterday running virus scans and such on this computer, and to wake up to Facebook not working is rather sad. Oh yes, and does anyone else who runs firefox have problems with the new update? I can't find the zoom function, and now my browser is set on a larger font for the forum, and I can't get it back to normal. I wish they would stop making these lousy updates on stuff, it only succeeds in confusing my 40-year-old brain.
