as of now, I'd prefer to see group builds as the spirit for group builds are very positive thus far (thanks danoneism for organizing them). :grouphug: but thanks for the compliments! indeed these are exciting times for customizers here, im glad to be part of it and to see other people's custom flavours (eg. Thorr, hwcustomizer, eight, jhc, danoneism)! :woohoo:

hey congrats on the score! so even though it allegedly has insiders, even though people are supposed to be working there or in the area, and even though people say dont bother going there...you still managed to score proving ucb's "right place, right time" theory. taking nothing away from your hunting efforts though. cheers.

haha thanks boss! this is my first time doing a "kereta potong". I chose to retain the Beetle, Tri & BEATle me sounds too arrogant haha! I shy. Anyway, some small updates. If you noticed from the previous spoiler picture, there were gaps between the chassis, body and interior that needed to be filled. So today was putty day. Cut the exhaust from the original chassis: Patching up holes and rebuilding areas that have been cut off: Putty work on the bottom chassis: Dry fitting: Spoiler: Yay! No more gaps and holes. Just need more sanding work to shape more areas of the putty before putting colour onto thie baby.

haha yeah mate! that was an old pic, but i was doin my groceries there today! aldi, woolworths, coles, kmart, target, myers, david jones and toysrus all in one place! here's the closeup of the new DD: The base yellow looks a better paint job than previous yellow recolors. At the door panels and edges there are no green "discoloration". However, on this particular piece the line across the body tempo wasn't printed properly, there are parts chipped off. The redline racing tempo is also not well finished on this unit, since there are cracking on the edges of some words. I particularly the colour combo of this tribal tempo on the roof. Mercifully, the tempo has been printed perfectly on this unit. This makes it stand out better than the first colour. As usual in most of the basic cars, front lamps and rear lamps are not painted. At least some units have some level of detail, but none at all for this DD. The bright yellow base paint makes the lack of details even more obvious, making it very plain looking (even more so than the first colour). Wheels are regular chrome 5SP, and base is plastic. Overall verdict: Spoiler: The base yellow is a significant improvement in the yellow colour, and the tempo on the roof is well done. Sadly the same can't be said for the rest of the tempo. Also, because of the colour, the lack of details are too obvious. Its like watching Megan Fox undressing in front of you, then you realize she has no b*****s. "Potong stim"

Yellow porsche, yellow DD, green dodge challenger, F1 racer are amongst the highlights besides the '34 TH. The others are like Pedal De Metal, Draggin Tail, some recolours that i forgot. will take a close up of the DD soon and let you decide as sinclair said, on the pegs. or more accurately, in a basket..like this (recycle old pic): and thanks all for viewing and compliments!
