What happens when you cross some European exotica with Japanese poise and determination? If it were a woman I’d have to say that it’d have to be a cross between Sayoko Ohashi and Catarina Murino, however when it comes to cars it would most definitely be this Ferrari 550 that has been tuned by Garage Saurus. In the past they have been known for buiding some insane vehicles including their gold R32 GT-R with two engines - one for drag, one for track - But this time they’ve gone all out and taken a car that is already immensely powerful and giving it a whoppingly large steroid injection that would even make an Indian bull elephant’s manhood shrink. How extreme? Originally the 550 was putting out around 490PS from its V12 engine, but since Garage Saurus have gotten their hands on it and strapped not one, but two turbochargers on the thing, it’s now tipping the scales at just over 1000PS.

Nissan has revealed the new Nissan GTR SpecV and announced that it will be available in selected Nissan showrooms through out Japan from February 2nd this year. The street legal high performance car features a new high gear boost control device which temporarily increases boost of the twin turbochargers between intermediate and high engine speeds to increase torque, hence improve acceleration. Continue reading for the rest of the report and to view three more images. Another improvement made to the limited production GTR include a titanium coated exhaust system. The stopping power is also increased with the addition of carbon ceramic brakes. The GTR SpecV also features racing styled aluminium forged 20 inch wheels which help reduce unsprung weight. The exterior of the sports car which comes only in an exclusive Ultimate Black Opal body colour features a new carbon fiber spoiler, a carbon fiber grille and carbon fiber brake ducts. The interior is treated to special Recaro carbon fiber bucket seats with carbon fiber insets decorated on the rear center storage box, instrument panel as well as on other trim areas. Apparently, only seven Japan based dealers will carry the new GTR SpecV as these dealers are staffed by specialized SpecV mechanics who have extensive knowledge in motor racing. The new Nissan GTR SpecV is priced at 15, 750,000 Yen.

New Nismo 370z looks tempting but the the taillight still sucks Nissan, with its in-house tuner, NISMO has put together the NISMO 370Z and has officially unveiled the high-performance coupe. The NISMO 370Z is powered by an up-rated 3.7 liter V6 that now produces 350HP, instead of 332HP in both the standard coupe and roadster models. Torque is also improved to 374Nm instead of 366Nm. The powerplant is mated to a close-ratio 6 speed manual with the Nissan SynchroRev Match function. The up in power is thanks to a H-configured exhaust system design and muffler tuning, along with optimized ECM Engine Computer Module control. NISMO had also improved the body structure which is more rigid now, and has also worked on the exterior styling with extended front nose, chin spoiler, special side sills, vertical door handles, rear spoiler and wide fenders with the NISMO designation on the seats and on the tachometer. Suspension has also been re-tuned to offer better road holding. It also comes with 5-spoke nissan alloy wheels with P245/40ZR19 front tires and P285/35ZR19 tires in the rear

looks just as mean and aggressive as it did at on the stand at the Geneva Motor Show, and it makes the standard 599 GTB Fiorano look downright ordinary and tame in comparison. The big coupe's bodywork has been reworked with plenty of carbon fiber aerodynamic bits and the interior features a full race cockpit complete with lightweight Alcantara seats and a full roll cage, a marked change from the standard car's leather-lined grand tourer accommodations. Under the hood? A 700 horsepower V12 that revs to eardrum-bursting 9000 rpm. The 599XX will serve as a testbed for new technologies much like the Ferrari FXX, and those who wish to sample its charms will have to qualify for the exclusive Corse Clienti program that is not only costly (over one million Euros), but limited to select Ferrari clientele. Last year, the program came to the United States twice, but there is no word yet on whether we'll see the 599XX on track here any time soon.
