Hi Stevie, and Welcome.

Where abouts in the "West Midlands" ?

I was in Kidderminster for 40 years before I escaped.

Back again in 8 weeks time.
Any good bike meets ?
I used to go the Enville Common at Kinver and
the Springhill Pub in Wolverhampton,
both great but gone now I think.

Hi Tony
We would have a lot to talk about Bud.
I live on Franche,Wolverley side of Kidderminster and I remember Enville Common very well thumbsthumbs It was a crazy place in the 1980's LOL.
When you are coming down again PM me and we will arrange to meet up. We all meet at the Quatt Cafe near Bridgnorth, and there is a GREAT bike meet at the Swancote Arms in Bridgnorth every Wednesday and starting Fridays as well, its close too the old Wheel meet,it would be lovely to see you.
Take Care Tony and see you soon.
Steve thumbsthumbs
PS You were luck to escape from Kidderminster LOL,LOL.

Uncle used to own the large house (was a hotel) in Habberley Valley.
He also owned the little cottage hidden behind the rock next to it.

Parents have just sold a farm at Franche,
but still live at another farm near by,
but they are down-sizing and slowing down a bit.

We used to farm the fields between Franche and Low Habberley,
and between Habberley Estate and Low Habberley.

Funny sat in Brisbane remembering this... Very Happy
