Must be in the silly handshake group.
Did not see the bike is no defence. I note the bike was running with lights which makes not seeing even harder to believe. -
@Davehutch wrote:sounds good but I wouldnt know what to do with one
Make things like crash bungs, bar end weights and pistons for calipers. -
He is open to sensible offers as he has not thought much about a price to advertise. He wants it to go so if you are interested he is down the road about 8 miles from you. Well worth a viewing. It has 3&4 jaw chucks a face plate etc. It has a 240V 13A motor. -
Contact me if interested. This belongs to a friend of mine and has seen little use. Ideal for projects/mods. -
Remove them from the planet is the way to stop scum. -

Also got myself checked today, no breaks just ligament damage and and nice bit of bruising.
Get pictures ready for the claim. -
@lee wrote:Hope it turns up
Hope the thieving bastard(s) end up under it. Accept my apologies but the law is useless to stop these prats reoffending. -
The guys are right chad you will end up with sweet nothing if you don't take control of the action. You need it sorting now at your convenience not his. The longer you piss about, the easier it will be for him to walk away. -
@pugeyed wrote:so have had the renewl through from carol nash for the bandit and its £165 which i didnt think was too bad, had a quote through hastings and it came up as £78 fully comp, protected no claims, problem is they wont cover the braced swingarm on my bike.
looking around has anyone used bikesure?
just doing a quote online now for custom bike insurance.
Do a Carole Nash quote online it should be £40 cheaper. Ring and you get it for the less price. Don't forget your recovery is included.

Good she has been found, the law is stupid as if she needs help then home is the best place. -
Hope all turns out well for you Mick and she returns home safe and well. -

Wish him all the best and get full value for the bike and himself. -

@fr499y wrote:I do tend to replace mine a little early than most, but I think the VP2 is getting too low in the middle. Mind you, I buggered up a BT021 on a run up to Yorkshire and back! had 3mm tread when we left, was below the wear mark and bubbling when we got back
That ain't early it needs changing. Get the plod on a mission stopping you and you might just get 3 points and £60.
As for the BT021 that is just about what to expect. -
@smilinjack wrote:@dick65 wrote:depends on your budget
I'd have to disagree with that mate-when I put the brakes on I want to be sure of what's in there, so if that means spending an extra tenner, so be it. I've had EBC in all my bikes and they work well without grabbing, and they're kinder to discs than sintered metal ones. Recommended
Agreed -
Put distance between you and this problem or you will get drawn in at the deep end. Let the wheels turn slowly, will get the result. Say too much and it will bite you. Treat him with respect although its hurting you to do so. Prats like him will have been watching you so make sure you are "clean" as he will try anything to drag you in with him. -
Sorry to hear of your sad loss. Will take time for the pain to ease. -
@fr499y wrote:@Davehutch wrote:have you got it booked in then ?
Nope, but going to do the oil change and what not in a couple days, £100+ for oil/filter and to check bolts is a joke..
This is how they reject your guarantee. Its a rip off. -
@smilinjack wrote:@Kenb wrote:@smilinjack wrote:Tell you what Ken I'm a convert. I've had them on my ZZR for a couple of years and can't praise them enough. Good wear rate, and the best handling tyre I've had on this bike. I've got a set of the old type to fit on my VFR before I take it abroad. Recommended, particularly at such a price.
You doing them yourself?
No mate my buddy Mash will do that for me for a small consideration.
A few jars lol. -
@Chadatious wrote:@Kenb wrote:Close to £200 B/stones and my last front was poor on mileage. 2 fronts to 1 rear.
that the bt021's? i hated them on the bandit, got dunlops at min, doing well so far 500 miles in worn in, and front chicken strips are smaller than the rear im putting that much trust in them
Using the 021's on the bike and replaced the front not a pair as lots of proper tread and shape remaining on the rear. When both are finished I might just try the MAXXIS.
