HMG instigated the all night openings of bars/pubs,stopped smoking, in public places, adding extra tax to booze, is trying to solve a problem of their making, by penalising sensible people who don't cause the problems, this is typical of the 'nanny-state' mentality. Surely more stringent punishment to the perpetrators of crimes should be the way to go.(Tagging is a good way too) A lot of youngsters buy cheaper booze & get psised,on the cheap before they go out. I would prefer hmg to solve MAJOR crimes and punish the child molesters, thieves, and no goods that they have encouraged into our(rapidly declining country)the ones I mean don't drink,... you know who I mean. Course, we're not aloud to say owt to offend THEM

Condolences from me,as well; my dad died 5yrs ago,aged 83. There's not a single day that I don't think about,/miss him.. My respects.

Seems to me, perhaps neighbours may have reported it as an eyesore?, and council do pick up such things, regardless who owns it, if it's been hanging around a while. There's a car near our sons place, been stood on car-jacks for over a year now, surprised that hasn't been collected by now. As for bin collection,never had a prob' with our guys....yet.... Must be lucky I guess. .
