I do have a problem with Christians giving the devil too much credit... I'm tired of hearing he's powerful and scary and smart and we shouldn't underestimate him. God is sooo much bigger and the only thing that terrifies me is the thought of facing hell and a life without Jesus Christ. I have heard of familiar spirits and generational curses beforeand understand them to a degree..but since I've found little to no scripture to support them I've kinda forgotten all about them. however they are mentioned in this forum quite a bit. can anyone tell me what they know and provide scripture for them? I'm especially sceptical about the familiar spirit.. I found generational curses in exodus. just curious thanks

well I know one guy actually invented something that you put over your eyes while you sleep and it picks up on your Rapid Eye Movements (REM) and blinks several times in your eyes to alert you that you are dreaming. he was into lucid dreaming.... I don't reccomend listening to what he believes cause it sounds new age. but I liked the device he came up with. it wakes you up as soon as you dream. it's really expensive though and I think it would probably be a nucence(sp) rather than an aid.

Hey guys! have y'all ever wanted to stick a video in your brain at night and record your dreams? lol I was thinking the other day that I wished I had some really cool device that was more convienent for me to record my dreams. I have a voice recorder but my husband is a light sleeper and gets annoyed with me when I use it cause he thinks I'm talking to him. I was thinking it would be cool to have something electronic that we could record our dreams on that was fast, easy and convienent. everything is handheld high tech these days. lol honestly I get lazy and don't record my dreams like I should because I don't wanna sit down and write it all out. it takes too long for my computer to boot up so I can type it out and I've stopped using the recorder cause I end up with so many tapes it's nearly impossible to find the dream I'm looking for. so my question is..... if you could invent some kind of electronc device to record your dreams what would it be? what features would it have and what makes it easier and more practical to use than any other method? thanks for amusing me :) this has been on my mind a lot since I have 5 children and my dream recording skills have been neglected lately.

I always wanted to learn ballet but I thought you had to be little when you start learning. wow that reminds me of a dream I had! lol I was on a ballet dance team or something. can't remember the details though.. oh wait yea I do... I was really good lol that's funny cause I have no rythum at all!

Im sorry everyone! my internet got turned off a while back...it was like "Yay, im back on the group again..." then "oops no im not!" i prayed for the group while i was gone cause i had no idea what was going on and didnt have a phone to talk to the moderators! It was so difficult, but i eventually gave it to God and just prayed that God would fall on the group and imaprt His wisdom and fellowship to you. ok, what did i miss? how is everyone? ps, i talked to Mia the other day and she needs our prayer. She is without internet so thats why we havent heard from her in a while...these are hard times...please keep her in your prayers.

My mother had a terrible thing happen to her at her old job. Her two bosses were HORRIBLE to her...the entire time she worked there it was very tramatic for her. Its been way over a year since she left that job and she's still reliving exactly what happened when she left at night in her dreams. I think sometimes we re-dream traumatic events. Im not sure why...just pray to be delivered. OR we could look at this symbolicly. Is there anything in your life you love that you're having to give up?

Well I know that just because Christian couples are Christians, doesnt mean thats a good reason to marry each other to begin with. I really dont have an answer to this butterfly, but I know that in several cases God told me NO on certian Christian men i was dating. (lol you know im a firm believer in THE ONE) :LOLDOH:

My pastor made a wonderful analogy this Sunday. The crow can fly over your head, just dont let him make a nest in your hair. Interpretation: Just because a thought, feeling, or emotion goes through your head doesnt mean you have to entertain it. Just tell it to Go away. The bible says to think on the things that are true, kind, pure and lovely... hope this helps..it was pretty powerful to me. love,
