short example,, my grandpa was a rev in a 3rd world country. He didnt tithe much.. but he went to dangerous parts of the world b/c the Lord gave hm a message to preach His world to the rest of the country. He risked his life.. (he had wife an 7kids) an went to scary parts wher christians were persecuted an killed(some were burned alive). All holidys he spent preachn the word. he preached the word till His last breathe.. He gave himeslef as a living sacrafice ... He saved towns of muslims/Hindu. Brought Christ to them... He never tithed much.. 30 years later in that town.. hindus' an muslims to this day rememba him he was a living sacrifice.. His family was blessed.. no lightening hit us.lol actually we had alot of miraculous thngs happen which wud blow some ppl's mind away :)

i believe giving out of fear is the Law.. Giving 10% was the Law.. which was written before Christ,, most of the old testament.. When Malachi was written, the coming of Christ and His purifying works were yet in the future. If we give b/c it's the Law we fall under the Law It is important to Give. Give freely as u were given freely.. doesnt' have 2be 10% could be 25, 30, 50 etc...if u dnt have $ u cud give urselvs. Depends on what the Spirit leads u to give. Most of ALL we shud give ourselves as a living sacrifice to the Lord.. we can give a lot of $, but i tell u, it's harder to be nice to someone that just slapped u in ur face an sideways an hated on ur mama than to dish out some cash... Rom 12:1-2: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. I had to ask the Lord what to do as I was not sure if i shud tithe or give offerings.. I have a soft spot for missionaries.. The Lord gave me a message and said to give my offerings to help this person in Ghana Africa..He even told me specifically when i give my money it will go to help this certain girl, in Ghanga gave me he name. He told me which church to give to. I gave out of my love for Jesus an b/c He directed me that it was ok to give this much money.. etc.. Not b/c of the Law or b/c of religion, As i do not believe in religion. I believe in what the Spirit of God leads me to do. And trust me I give a lot.. I always give, even when i dont have a job... Some ppl give bc they r fearful that they will get struck my lightening.. that's a scary thought.. Just my thoughts on what the Lord guided me to do. Everyone should ask the Lord for guidance as to where the Spirit shud lead them to.

Hi Christian, haha no worries about shortening the name Thank u so much for praying for me, bless ur heart! And also thank u for the kind words u have spoken about me. It blesses me and encourages me greatly. Currently i dont have a mission job, i always had a regular job. It's just been in my heart for many years to go to developing countries to help. But i want to do it w/my own money. Like Paul,u know he worked and was not a burden to anyone.... also i wanna help my mom so i need my own finances. But God is good He will provide and shw me the way... but what u say is tru the whole world is a mission field.. praise God.. YOu have greatly encouraged me, ur a blessing ! God bless!

heavnly... i agree w/sis Cholette ( Hi sis cholette) for me reading the word has helped me get revelations from the Lord for such things... im still waitin an prayin about it.. dont have all the answers yet... I realized He wanted me to "rest" in Him... and Trust in Him that He knws that is best....an will reveal in due time... an as sis cholette mentioned "be anxious for nothin.."

Hey christian, u sound very much like me... an im sorry to hear about the job situation... I feel ya! It's a good time to spend w/the Lord... I didnt real all the responses but i believe thy r similar... i still dont have a job yet either but realized the Lord wanted me to spend time w/Him... The enemy wanted me to thnk He was mad at me as well when i wasnt havin many dreams... but i rebuked those thoughts...Its a dry season for me as well. I realzed He wanted me to Keep praisin Him in my dark times...He luvs 2be praised.. I am in the same boat as u.. I have u in my prayers. The Lord has a job for u!! It's there thank Him for it. Fear not for it is His Good pleasure to give u all things.. that verse

No sis Christina, they have not called me back yet w/a yay or Nay. I'm still waiting but I know the Lord will not fail me. He never does... was just thanking him and rejoicing for How's He's been good to me... and for the victory He has in store thank u so much for ur thoughts an prayes Blessings to u all

Yes, He wants us to rejoice in our period of waiting.. He will do a new thing... As He promised...

I just wanted to share that ive been outa job ovr 2 yrs.. I did get couple of temporary jobs twice in between..for short periods. No health insurance... But God has been good, He sustained me.. I realized every broken road Led me to HIm. I lost my job just when i wanted to do missionary work. so i couldnt afford to, broke my heart...but oh well .. He had me preparin for othr things ..So i wait an praise Him for it. Over 2 yrs no Health insurance, but He kept me healthy He HEALED me of my Ashthma , Praise Him He sustained me.. The Lord spoke to me almst evryday when i was left alone w/no frinds or family. i didnt get the dream job i wnt 2collage for. when i ran outa mny i got a temp Job.. When Job was hard Lord Said " I will send someone to help u". The nxt day i had a mentor , Praise God. When i was betrayed and left alone.. He said rejoice an Praise me... praise Him and Rejoice... He is good... Even when He seems quite He is workin on my Breakthru. I use to get worried, but i dnt any more.

Juan my thoughts r that u def have some sort of seeing/discerning gift from the Lord. Some ppl have it in such a deep way that they r able to discern the enemy as well. It's a gift of discerning spirits.. both good and bad...some have a little of it an the more deeper they get w/the Lord the more powerful it gets it's beautiful . God bless u ...

Hi pls pray that i can sell my place for a good price, and also my mom's place needs to be sold. i know the economy is bad but we NEED a good deal. Not many ppl have been able to sell in this building but I have to. Praise God . So people of God i need prayers and a miracle!!! Praise God. I know HE will come thru. God bless u all.
