  2. I am really at my wits end with My Empire. For one thing, I don't have enough friends there to help me finish stuff (which in essence there are too darn many things to finish). Secondly, every time I start playing I get this same error message saying that the connection is broken. The question is should I quit? The other question is, is this stupid connection issue happening with other people or am I the only one who seems to have nothing but grief with this stupid game? Please someone tell me I'm not the only one, because this is just aggravating. I will not ever start any new Playfish games...all they do is annoy me. Now I wish I hadn't deleted Hotel City...boring as it was, at least the thing ran properly. Okay, now I'm done venting.
  3. It just ended and I am beat. Going to sleep now. Have a good night everyone.
  4. That's why I usually don't watch these shows. The votes are generally done by political ties, and people don't care about how talented an artist is. I read the lyrcist and composer names and I gave Russia a vote because the person singing wrote and composed his song. To me, that's where I find appreciation for the music. I was not a fan of Turkey's song or Greece's song, I really thought the more classical songs were better, the lyrics were beautiful and the people who sang in their languages were really good. One singer was good, but their background singers were awful. Their, so called harmony wasn't harmonious at all. It was as though they had really messed the song up for that particular entrant. The Israeli singer sang in Hebrew, and sang with so much passion that I had to vote for him. I couldn't understand a word, but his face was filled with so much passion. That's what music is about. To be able to touch a person who cannot understand what one is singing, is to me nothing short of phoenominal!
  5. Neither did I, and I live here.
  6. I can't believe Lena won. This is just too unbelievable. 'Satelite' is not that great of a song. I can't believe Germany won with it. I voted for Israel, Denmark, Russia, and Norway. Those were my top songs. here I thought this was all like those 'superstar' shows, where people sing covers. I was amazed by the original songs that were presented. Some were very good, but others were just not. Lena's voice was not that great.
  7. OMG; I just saw the Norwegian entrant. I think he's awesome. Like the male version of Sissel Kyrkjebo, that voice, and that song is just fantastic. He better have a CD out, cause I'm buying it. Go Norway!
  8. Maybe. But, if not, i can always send them to Falcor.
  9. Tiddly Winks loves playing cover girl.
  10. I do, Tiddly Winks is there.
  11. I couldn't believe it when I found out that he had died. This guy was so funny during the early 80's, and just about any kid who grew up watching TV sitcoms knew about Arnold Jackson, the character he was known for. I am deeply saddened that he is no longer with us. He was only 42 years old.
  12. Yeah, I noticed that she was MIA and I miss her. Ames, where for art thou????
  13. I don't think they will be because it's in the market and not the boutique. But don't be mad at me if they are because my predictions generally are about as useful as a rubber pencil.
  14. Yeah right....I need to tidy mine and throw out tooons of juuunk.
  15. Nothing much planned here. This weekend I intend to take it easy, work on my stories, and maybe get inspired to write another song. I wrote some lyrics yesterday, so my writer's block is officially over. Thank goodness, I went a good three or four months not writing a thing. Now it's like old faithful. Hehe. The weather is not exactly nice though, so no excursions planned, except maybe to buy a new package of ice cream.
  16. It's silly. Especially with the wigs. They do look similar. It's just a different color.
  17. Well, mine are still sitting in the garden waiting to grow. They haven't started yet, still look the same as when I bought them from the store. I'll just keep waiting.
  18. Thanks Lazar, I sometimes have one or two fairly decent ideas. Name of Game: Baking Life Gift Request or Project: Bakery Expansion Can non players help?: I think so Time limit to offer assistance: I would like to expand asap, I'm running low on space.
  19. I like the green white and red dresses, but I think it's sad that there's no outfits for males. Otherwise the stuff is okay. I am wondering about that socialite potion and how much it will reap coin wise.
  20. I like dark brown, but that's probably not helping much.
  21. Kiki, just a tip with the wigs. The red bob wig is almost exactly like the brown one. You can get one and color it brown for only two CCs, and those can be gifted. What they are doing is insane with this. I mean; the way around this is to buy the red wig for regular coins, color it and save 23CCs. Sometimes I think the people at PF think the average player has the intelligence of a bag of rocks.
