Hey I just thought of this, Kathy, does one of your immediate family members have a Facebook account? You could start them on PS, buy some coins and then send them that way. Oh yes, don't forget to get them addicted. mwah. Edit, I got them!!!!!! Through a strange way, one of my friends put money in my Paypal since Paypal was sooooo utterly slow. -
I saw 2,300 there. I hope that they will still get my money in so I can send a set of wings. I almost put set of wigs...need coffee....

Maybe they will do a Star Wars theme in a few weeks. Everyone get a wig in reserve, I think they will do something like that. Wouldn't a pet dressed as Darth Vader be sooooo funny.

I am so glad that Lea was able to help me out. The money from paypal is still not there. I am going to contact them and ask what the hold up is. It's never taken this long. As for the wings, I am really relieved that through some teamwork, everything got done. It just goes to show what a one of a kind forum this is. Everyone here should be commended for being here, and for caring so much for one another. I am simply blessed to be a part of such a community.

I tried everything, I was at the health food store, the specialty environmental shop, and nothing worked. I just resolved myself to stop trying. Right now with stress being what it is, it's a hopeless cause anyway. -
I spent the morning hovering over my email, and then we had to go to the curtain place and get a new rod for our curtains (that thingamagig to pull the curtains aside.) Then I did laundry. Ironing's been done, but if you want to send yours to me Lisa, I'd do it. I'm a domestic goddess donchoo know? Hahahaha. I don't mind ironing, as long as I can watch movies while doing it. -
I used to love figure skating, but am not really into that. Here everyone is caught up in football (or soccer as it's called in the US). I am not into it at all. The WM hasn't started yet, and I'm already sick of it. I would say refereeing three kids is a sport. -

Hey K. have you used those books we gave you last October yet? I love languages. Had two years Spanish in High School, studied Russian, had a semester of French, a year and a half of German, and now speak and write fluent German. -

I am hopeful, but they seem to be going rather quickly. I asked a friend that if she can send me a pair tomorrow (she's 8 hours ahead of me) then that would be helpful. I just hope that they don't sell as fast I as I think. Like I said, they aren't my favorite item, and even though I put the stipulation in my initial post that if the money is here, then I would take part, the money's not here yet and I'm wondering if it will get here. I've been waiting for my email to 'bleep', and it hasn't and I'm not the most patient gal on the planet at the moment.

No that's not the plan. You're getting yours first. I decided that when I wanted to get involved n the contest. But, arrrrgh, because yesterday was Pfingsten here (that's some holiday that I'm still after 15 years olf living here utterly clueless about), the money is taking longer to transfer. I sent it Wednesday. Grrrrrrrr.

My paypal money's not in yet. I am annoyed I sent it last wednesday. I don't care much about myself getting them, but I have a prize to deliver and if I can't deliver then I'm going to feel just awful.

I tried so often, but then the nails would grow out and flake off, so I just decided that my hands were just going to look awful. Maybe I should just wear gloves.
