  1. Oh yeah, the penguin walk-through, I forgot about that one! We didn't do the sea lion show, I dunno why... Is it still the Seamore and Clyde show?
  2. That would be Edward in the first book, Twilight Next quote. Who said it, and which book? I’ll be back so soon you won’t have time to miss me. Look after my heart — I’ve left it with you.
  3. Well, that was interesting. Took over Mom's ironing and learned a lot, haha! I don't like statistics either to be honest... It took me a couple of times to pass that course, but last June I finally did. I've never been more proud then back then! Oh sorry Smorkle, SW stands for SeaWorld, a water amusement park in San Diego :-) It has different shows as well (e.g. Shamu, Waterworld) and rides as well (Shipwreck Rapids and..... How is that one called, Atlantis? It has a major splash down, but we didn't do it unfortunately, cos it was too cold and we were all finally dried up from the Shipwreck Rapids)

    fun(ny) fact

Hahaha, this is funny! Thanks Tromo for sharing!
  5. Yvette, I am interested in one of them
  6. Hehehe, Mindy, I think you are a much better reference for San Diego then I am, I've only been there one day, spent the entire time at SW and then had dinner in a restaurant, where they had awesome lasagna and spaghetti (I dunno the name, but it was close to an ice cream place where they had like all kinds of flavors I've never seen!). Aaaa, Disneyland, that one is my fave! I'll keep my fingers crossed for the statistics test!!! Hope all goes well!
  7. *runs over to Yvettes pets*
  8. Tiddly, I wish you and your husband all the best!
  9. WOW Yvette, Starlight is very very very cute!!! I can't wait to see the outcome of Radioactive and my Clover!
  10. Aaah San Diego reminds me of SeaWorld! Loved that part of my trip. Got soaking wet in one of the attractions there :-D Had the best baby back ribs in SW (were sooo good) and San Diego Downtown was pretty fun as well! (I fell in love with socal, I cannot help it) Bee, it is never to late, ever, no matter what it is you want to do, it is never to late! I am happy you two have a great time and I think you both will figure out a way eventually! Today and this weekend will be my time off and I'm gonna enjoy it, since starting from Monday I'll be at the library from 9am until probably 4pm as I want to start working on my literature overview for one thesis subject already. I am still waiting on a reply concerning the other subject, so I haven't decided yet which subject to pick, but I think if I wait one more week, it'll be all too much to do at a short time. And I am pretty motivated to get things started! Finally something to do, hahaha!
  11. I'm absolutely in love with the unicorn, I mean... look at it? Hahaha, look at the Hideeni plushie, how cute is that one? Would it be because Hideeni turns one? And loving those seeds, every single one of them!

    Dreaming of...

Thanks Hina! I have always loved to learn! It doesn't surprise the people around me when I say I'm gonna go to school one more year after this one, I am in my last year now, but still... There is so much I would love to learn, but I also understand that in life you need to make choices sometimes ;-) Today I am not really dreaming, I don't know how to explain, but I don't have the "urge" to be somewhere else with my mind, as I had an entire day filled with good news, so I am really happy.

    Dreaming of...

Sounds awesome everyone! I have to admit that my biggest dream would be the same as yours, Serenity: I wish I could play the piano. I regret I never did this as a kid, but I am hoping that once I get a job and what not, I will be able to find time to learn it and to save up for a piano ofcourse :-)
  14. Yay, I finally got good news today!!! LOL, just saw that I posted this two times in a row The first good news was that I got an email for an appointment, which was today and it all went well :-) Still waiting on a reply on the other email
  15. Good news over here, finally! Still hoping for a second mail back! got an appointment in a few, so need to get going and get ready :-)
  16. Laz! Welcome back! I have read all the reactions above, and as they all said: don't delete your account here. I also know RL is important, but it is fun if you can drop by here and talk to the friends you made here. As you can see: they all missed you (so did I). I also have to agree on what the others say, it might be best to keep those items you really really love, in case you ever decide to play again with Rocky. Hope all is well *hugs*

    Dreaming of...

Right now. At this very moment as I am writing this post, I am dreaming of much better weather. It is absolutely pouring down rain, it makes the cats don't want to go outside (and believe me, they can be annoying when they want/have to go outside, but then decide not to... but actually, they have to, but no, it can wait... and that goes on, and on, and on). I have to go outside in a bit as well and am absolutely dreading to go outside. I have to admit, I even made a ponytail as it's not worth to wash my hair, because it will get wet anyhow. So, that is what I am dreaming of now: a little bit warmer weather, some sunshine... What are you dreaming of? It can be something small, as what I described, but you can share your big dreams too of course :-)
  18. Hey guys, TT, I am glad you had a blast! Sounds wonderful!! Make sure to take pics for me, hehe :-D I am still waiting for more news, and am really motivated to get started. Things have been to slow for me the past few weeks and I have too much spare time. Believe me, I am really becoming lazy! Mindy: Congrats already! :-D It is a smart step to take it all one step at a time. I've had my bachelors for (counting...) 5 years now, decided to do something else, but couldn't get rid of the idea of getting my masters, so am working for that now these past 3 years. And... who knows... I might not stop after this year. Ahem :-) But we'll see, I still have time to decide on that. Smorkle: good to see you! Zoonie has been gone for a while now (I hope she's doing okay). Hehehe, another Twilight lover over here ;-) I can't wait for Eclipse to come out on DVD! And then wait for the other 2 Breaking Dawn movies... Hmm, ideas for anniversaries, that can be tough sometimes :-) What about a going-away weekend, with lots of fun things you both like planned? As for now, I have to get ready to go to school, gonna earn me some money by helping out others in their experiment (nothing to worry about, it's just a questionnaire on the computer). Not looking forward to be going outside as it is absolutely pouring... And the fun part is: we have a muddy street and there's no way around it if you want to go outside. It is really... bad... And we don't see any improvements now for this week, it's a new team that's working here and they are really slow (sorry to say that, but it is). Last weeks team got a lot done, they were really good! But oh well, it gets me out of the house, so I am glad I can be outside for a while, even though the weather is awful. Decided to go have lunch out with a friend, so I hope that's going to be fun TTYL xoxo
  19. Also just a quick visit from me Lea: thanks for the suggestions! Bee: that is good news, I'll keep my fingers crossed (unless I jinx it, then I won't). Hope all goes well! You are able to find more about rates and discounts if you start looking now. We booked our flight somewhat around beginning of January I believe and were able to get a great deal. On Summer trip subject: sis was playing around with the idea of going back to the States next Summer (2011 that is) and she asked several times if I didn't want to join her. I finally decided not to do that and told her that. Gives me other opportunities as well. I am doing okay, still waiting on e-mails, hoping I get them soon, so I can get started... And besides all that, no other news. Hope you're all okay!
  20. That is a pretty funny costume, Lea! I would go as a bumble bee, as said before, people dress up as bunnies as well. I guess you can always add something scary to it.
  21. Hey guys, had a really good time - BF was here since Wednesday, just took him home today (blah, hehe). It's very cold here now already, starting to freeze and whatnot, and they predicted snow as well... Looking forward to when these constructions come to an end in our street, but starting this Wednesday, they are closing down the main street, so all traffic has to be deviated. Lots of fun... Fingers crossed I know more soon about thesis, just waiting on an answer, and it's killing me. Well, hope you're all okay.
  22. Cute, the basket glows too! Running over to Yvette's pets
