Bean Bag Buccaneers is a two player children's game, the object of which is to pick up your treasure chest on the central island and sail back safely. Each player has a giant sailing ship as their main game piece. Each ship has a removable sail, two trigger-action side panels, and a huge spring-driven cannon. Players take turns moving forward along a prescribed track and shooting bean bags at their opponent's ship. A hit on one of the side panels will force it to pop off and give the player a free shot at the other side; a hit forcing the sail off becalms the ship for a turn. To add to the pirate flavor, each player also has an eye patch. Wearing these will slightly affect depth perception and add a marginal bit of sport to the shooting. This game retailed for the somewhat impressive sum of $16 back in 1962. With its huge plastic ships (close to a foot long), giant vinyl play mat, and the eye patches, it may well stand as one of the more overproduced games of the early 1960s. Bean Bag Buccaneers.

Title: Third Anniversary Zoo, Agia Napa, Cyprus Author: Melissa Macunado (Shadow Walker) Language: English Requirements: Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection + usermade expansions: "Beach Resort Theme" by Jane; "50 States of America"; "Natural Ponds" by Brandi; "Waterfalls Combined"; "Pond Pack"; "Tek rock combined"; "Low fences combined"; "Super Hack"; JohnRN1's creations (Megalodons, Merfolk, King crabs) Description: This seaside zoo was made for a special occasion: Zoo Tycoon Wildlife's third anniversary. This explains why I went mad with usermade objects and so on. It it is a fictional zoo located on south-east shore of Cyprus, in the bustling seaside resort Agia Napa. If I could choose only one place to go on holiday forever, I would choose Cyprus. Not to mention wonderful culture and historical heritage of the place, but also people and wildlife. That's why this zoo is located in Agia Napa. It consists of several exhibits: there are five tanks with merfolk, megalodons, king crabs, green sea turtles and bluefin tunas. Also, there are six "normal" (land and water) exhibits with saltwater crocodiles, hippos, african warthogs, dromedary camels, californian sea lion and greater flamingos. The list of species is intentional as the zoo features two main biomes: the Mediterranean Sea and the island of Cyprus. I used Jane's and Brandi's objects to create Agia Napa's suburbs before it turned into a bustling seaside resort. That's why there is also a small port and a bay. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take screenshots combining this zoo as a whole, so instead of that I post numerous screenshots of different parts of the island. There is a small market near the tavern, from which you can view astonishing waves. For children I built a minizoo; for now it consists of vietnamese pigs (due to the lack of those on my hard disc I used warthogs instead) and dromedary camels. Hope you will expand this happy farm! The guests are able to swim in several parts of the sea (don't miss this occassion to sunbathe on famous Nissi Beach before it turns crowded with tourists!), it doesn't matter they choose a luxurious ship, cute rentboats or a canoe. Of course, one can also swim in a swimsuit. There's a hotel with a restaurant and a cozy villa for rent. Next to the lighthouse, an old, marine-themed inn greats newcomers exhausted by their memorable trip to the zoo. Do you want do taste something special? The staff is at your service! You can see the building process by opening *.zoo files in chronological order. Everything is named like this: 3A_month_Yx.zoo, where Y and the number explains which year it is and month - well, you can probably solve this puzzle yourself. Feel free to expand this zoo, but please do not upload it again without my written permission. I'd like to thank all usermade objects' creators, especially JohnRN1 and Jane. Oh, one more thing. Keep your eyes open on the merfolk exhibit. They breed like Hell. Have a nice stroll through our zoo! Picture: Third Anniversary Zoo by Shadow Walker.rar

HALLOWEEN The origin of Halloween dates back to the traditions of the peoples who inhabited the islands of Gaul and Britain between the years 600 BC and 800 AD, although with marked differences from the current Pumpkins or the famous phrase "Trick or Treat", exported the United States, which popularized the celebration. Originally, Halloween was not related to Halloween. It was a festival of Irish Celtic calendar, the festival of Samhain, between 30 October and 02 November and marked the end of summer (Samhain literally means "End of Summer"). The celebration of Halloween has two origins in the course of history were mingling. PAGAN ORIGIN The pagan origin has to do with the Celtic celebration called Samhain, which was aimed to worship the dead. The Invasion of the British Isles by the Romans (46 BC) finished mixing the Latin culture with Celtic, with the latter eventually waned with time. At the end of the second century, with the evangelization of these territories, the religion of the Celts, called Druidism, had disappeared in most communities. We know little about the religion of the Druids, for it is not written anything about it: everything was transmitted orally from generation to generation. It is known that the Samhain festivities were celebrated quite possibly between day 5 and 7 November (half way between the summer equinox and winter solstice). They were preceded by a series of celebrations that lasted a week, and gave the Celtic new year. The "Feast of the Dead" was one of its most important dates, for celebrating what for us would be "Heaven and Earth" (concepts that only came with Christianity). To the Celts, the place of the dead was a place of perfect happiness, where there would be no hunger or pain. The feast was celebrated with rites presided over by the Druid priests, who acted as "mediums" between people and their ancestors. It was also said that the spirits of the dead returned on that date to visit their old homes and lead their families into the other world. CATHOLIC ORIGIN Since the fourth century the Church in Syria devoted a day to celebrate "All Martyrs". Three centuries later, Pope Boniface IV transformed a Roman temple dedicated to all the Gods (Pantheon) or Christian temple dedicated to "All Saints", to all those who preceded us in faith. The feast in honor of "All Saints", was originally celebrated on May 13, but Pope Gregory III changed the date to November 1, which was the day of the dedication of the chapel of All Saints in St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Later in the year 840, Pope Gregory IV ordered that the feast of All Saints was celebrated universally. How big party, it also won their evening celebration or vigil, which prepares the feast the day before (October 31). In English translation, this watch was called "All Hallow's Eve" (Vigil of All Saints), later becoming the forms "All Hallowed Eve" and "All Hallow Een" until you reach the actual word "Halloween". I received these pictures a few days, I soon realized I should share with all friends accompanying the Hot Keng, although after a few days of 2011 that Halloween is the theme of "Work of Art" of customization, creating a customizer Brazil Carlos Mauricio Dariz, in the opinion of this blog. VW Drag Bus Halloween 2011 is without any doubt the best work that has already performed the airbrush artist worthy of recognition he has achieved in Brazil and abroad. And tell by the way in the coming weeks will be released a bombshell related to this customizer, wait ... Within the current traditions and what we know about Halloween or just Halloween, this project comes from the Customizer Carlos Mauricio Dariz Studio CMD19 with his current base in the city of Foz do Iguaçu - Paraná - Brazil, VW Drag Bus Halloween 2011, follow ... Notice the details of this work CMD19 Studio in partnership with graphic design Leonardo Melo, let's start talking about miniature painting, a simplistic view we could say that he used a white, fine, but here comes the detail who makes the colors themselves are customizer itself, and this appears a shade of white table Pantone he developed after several years of experience in paint formulations. The graphics and decals for this work were developed thoroughly studied and how all the projects created by this artist, there was a keen research paper on the subject until the final result, monitored ... No details have not been forgotten, you can follow the paint on the taillights, turn signals and headlights that lately has had an artist's attention, and today has become a differentiator in their work, track ... Above and below you can notice another trademark of this customizer, the colored tires in the case of the white color that accompanies the painting of miniature house and harmoniously with their graphics, track ... Another hallmark of his work are the paintings with Xenon Spectraflame here in green, and the result of this combination was spectacular job, now honestly did not have to work together as one combining impressive Painting, Graphics and Decals, that within a simplistic view of what we classify as customization or personalization of painting in the true sense of the size of a creative and innovative artist who does not shirk the challenges, we never see this level work either here or in Brazil and abroad. We try to draw a picture of the work that this is not only this matter but all the others that were released here and many other places, which to be proud of us this Brazilian artist customization crossed the border, and will certainly open many doors for true artists, customizers have great here in Brazil that deserve to be recognized not only in our country but also abroad, because their works owe nothing to anyone. The day will come that our artists will be known by the name ... A man is stranded on a desert island, all alone for ten years. One day, he spots a speck on the horizon. He thinks to himself, "It's not a ship". The speck gets a little closer and he thinks, "It's not a boat". The speck gets even closer and he thinks, "It's not a raft". Then, out of the surf emerges a gorgeous blonde woman, wearing a wetsuit and scuba gear. She comes up to the guy and she says, "How long has it been since you've had a cigarette?" "Ten years!" he says. She reaches over, unzips a waterproof pocket on her left sleeve and pulls out a pack of fresh cigarettes. He takes one, lights it, takes a long drag and says, "Man, oh man! That is good!" Then she asks, "How long has it been since you've had a drink of whiskey?" He replies, "Ten years!" She reaches over, unzips her waterproof pocket on the right, pulls out a flask and gives it to him. He takes a long swig and says, "Wow, that's fantastic!" Then she starts unzipping this long zip that runs down the front of her wetsuit and she says to him, "And how long has it been since you've had some REAL fun?" And the man replies, "My God! Don't tell me you've got a motorcycle in there!"
