Featuring Uncle CHIA's Garage [Updated]

Recommended Posts

Uncle CHIA or Mr.CHIA, some of you might call him,
a veteran Hot Wheels collector who frequently seen at gatherings or at Amcorp mall on Sunday.
He's a got shop in TTDI Market area where he displays, sells or trade.
Although this is only his 'part-time' shop where he goes there once or twice a week,
or maybe a phone call from a friend who wants to see,
it is always a worthy visit for envy collectors.
Like me, today, I visited his shop again. This time around, I took the opportunity to snap some pictures
and perhaps introduce to some of our fellow HWCM collectors on what is in-stored whenever you visit Mr.Chia's shop.
The scary part is, this is only half of his collections, the rest remains in his home.

The entrance of his shop

Inside his shop, there's display cupboard with sliding "door" like, with many layers of Hot Wheels cars.

The rest of his collections

and some loose items

Perhaps you see some interesting cars you like, then don't hesitate to ask him when you see him at gathering.

Mr. JH Chia of TTDI, I haven't had the chance to visit his shop yet.

That's some nice pics of his great collection, thanks for sharing Atomkinder.

I always cycle inside the pasar (enter from the overhead bridge and exit at the front wheelchair access ramp) and often I passed by this shop and stopped by to peek inside. 100% of the time I visited there, it is closed. I always grumbled, "Apa punya kedai ni, nak bukak ke taknak? Duit raya aku dah happy nih..". So, erm, does anyone know where and how to contact this Mr. Chia, would like to come in one day and look around. Very Happy

Haha, sometimes I do look around at the booths in Amcorp on Sunday, but I don't know any of you guys since I am new. Usually I'll just browse through the cars and then go to the bookstore. :/

I think this is not a shop....

I went to mr.Chia's shop on Saturday and I discovered this crazy set. I saw the promotion in HWC.com but
I didn't really pay much attention until I see it 1st hand. I must say it's very very stunning.

Fellow collectors, I introduced you The 2010 Hot Wheels 50 pack car set.

Mr.Chia said he's helping another collector to sell.
It's all short carded but by looking at the detail the 2010 short cards, it's certainly looking better than the traditional long card.

So. if you guys want to see the item or find out the price, it's only fair to ask Mr.Chia himself. I'm just only merely "poisoning" Very Happy
