welcome mate. Is Thame near Shillingford Bridge? Rings a bell, I don't know if maybe I pass through on the way to Wallingford. Smile

thanks all - thame is about 7 miles ne of shillingford bridge

tend to head out that way, to wiltshire for rides, salisbury plain is great for bikes, you can see a long way ahead mostly and it's fantastic at night as there's little light pollution, just distant glow of towns miles away.
